Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie To Divorce? Couple Faces ‘Career Battle,’ She Struggles With Weight Loss
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are facing rumors of an impending divorce — and that’s not all. According to a new report, the superstar couple is involved in a full-on career war as Pitt continues to film Five Seconds of Silence with Marion Cotillard in London.
On May 19, the Daily Mail revealed Brad Pitt had pulled out of Top Gear‘s opening episode as his alleged feud with Jolie over whose career is more important rages on. As the report revealed, Pitt’s sudden move left producers scrabbling for a replacement.
“[Brad Pitt] has obviously had filming issues so they’ve had to quickly find another Hollywood name and came up with [Jesse Eisenberg],” a source explained to The Sun. “He played Lex Luthor in the latest Batman vs Superman movie, but is not a heart-throb or a name anything like Brad.”

Just weeks ago, a source spoke out about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marital troubles, claiming the couple was fighting about their careers and their kids.
“They’re at war over who’s looking after the kids since that agreement got blown out the window with her desire to turn her directing career into a success after several failures,” a source recently told Radar Online. “This is tearing them apart, but Brad’s got no choice. He’s done more than enough to help her directing career, even risking his own reputation in her schmaltzy flop ‘By the Sea,’ and now it’s time to get back to work.”
According to the report, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used to have a firm rule in place: Only one of them works at a time so that their children are never left without at least one parent. However, that rule has allegedly been pushed to the side as they both tend to their careers and they’ve been left fighting over who will watch their kids.

As their career battle continues, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been faced with allegations of affairs. Throughout this year, sources have claimed Pitt has grown extremely close, and emotionally attached, to his Five Seconds of Silence co-star Marion Cotillard, and he’s also been accused of kissing his other co-star, Lizzy Caplan.
Adding to the marital troubles allegedly plaguing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is her reported health crisis and weight loss.
“The Angelina Jolie health scare has been making major headlines, as the actress’ health isn’t only affecting her well being, it looks like her marriage may be affected as well,” the Morning Ledger reported earlier this week. “The actress has been losing a considerable amount of weight and the divorce rumors that have plagued the Jolie-Pitt couple don’t seem like they’ll be stopping anytime soon.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s romance began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, where the actors fell in love while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Then, just one month after Aniston filed for divorce, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made their relationship official by publicly traveling together to Kenya with Jolie’s son, Maddox. Since then, the couple has adopted two additional children and welcomed three biological children, as well. They also tied the knot in a super secret ceremony at their home in France in August 2014.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have remained silent in regard to the ongoing divorce rumors.
