Zayn Malik To Dump Gigi Hadid For Perrie Edwards Despite Engagement Rumors?

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are probably going to take their relationship to another level, but rumors of Zayn Malik ditching Gigi for Perrie Edwards won’t go away. The Inquisitr quoted Star magazine as saying that Zayn and Gigi are probably engaged. The sources said that the two were had taken a private table and that the former One Direction singer proposed to Gigi Hadid.

“They were seated at a private table tucked away in the back,” an insider said, of the proposal. “Honestly, it didn’t look like anything special was going on, that is until Gigi practically jumped out of her seat and yelled, ‘Yes!'”

The sources have also said that Zayn proposed to Gigi at Butter, her favorite restaurant.

“They even got a round of applause from some other diners!” the source added.

Celeb Dirty Laundry quoted Life & Style magazine as saying that Zayn Malik is cheating on Gigi Hadid with his Little Mix ex. The sources have said that Gigi has caught Zayn talking to Perrie Edwards more than once.

“Gigi keeps catching Zayn talking to his ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards,” the insider stated.

If that’s true, then it’s not really going to go down well with the supermodel.

The magazine has also claimed that despite engagement rumors, the former One Direction star may not be ready to commit to Gigi Hadid.

“Zayn is just not sure he can fully commit to her. He’s enjoying his fame and may want to keep his dating options open. They’re definitely on the rocks.”

That being true, where does the relationship really stand?

Despite the rumors, it looks like Gigi Hadid is very proud to proclaim that she is in a relationship with the former One Direction star. E! News stated that the stunning supermodel was wearing a T-shirt that stated, “lol ur not Zayn Malik.” Clearly, Gigi doesn’t want anyone to assume that she’s available. And it seems like Zayn Malik loved what he saw.

“Thas ma girl,” Zayn tweeted in reply to Gigi’s witty T-shirt.

But, all is not as it seems. OK! Magazine said that Zayn Malik is very possessive of Gigi Hadid and makes sure he keeps a tab on her and that she is kept under strict curfew.

“He wants her to be back in her hotel room by midnight when they’re apart.”

Some sources have also labeled Zayn Malik as a hypocrite, saying that Zayn is no saint even though he keeps a strict watch on Gigi.

“This is a bold move by Zayn because he’s not exactly a saint,” said the insider, “but it shows how controlling and insecure he is about Gigi.”

The source has gone on to say that the former One Direction star doesn’t really trust Gigi Hadid.

“Zayn doesn’t trust [Gigi Hadid], but he would never admit it,” the source said. “Instead, he’s playing with her mind by telling her he wants to be the last person she speaks to when she goes to bed. This might sound romantic, but his ulterior motive is keeping tabs on her when she’s out of town.”

Despite all the rumors surrounding Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid, it seems like the two are getting serious about each other.

“He and [Gigi Hadid] are getting serious,” a source told E! News. “Gigi was so excited when Zayn asked her to be in his music video. They both acted very professionally on set but it was very obvious that they were in love. They couldn’t stop flirting with each other. Gigi and [sister] Bella really like the fact they are in music videos with their boyfriends.”
