‘Grand Theft Auto V’: Rockstar Teases With New Images

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V can’t get here soon enough. As someone who pours over open-world sandbox games, the next installment of the groundbreaking franchise is extremely high on my list of upcoming video games. In order to keep internet buzz alive, the company has released a new batch of images this week, all of which look absolutely amazing.

According to the folks at Kotaku, the latest collection of pictures has been dubbed “Business.” If these images are any indication of the things you’ll be able to do in the final product, Grand Theft Auto V is set to be quite the experience. Not only is the company’s penchant for vehicular mayhem present and accounted for, it also appears that players will be able to embark on various aerial adventures courtesy of an old red prop plane.

Earlier this week, Rockstar dropped three striking images upon the GTA-hungry masses, which display even more aspects of the company’s return to San Andreas. In addition to buzzing around on motorcycles, the game’s hero can parachute into the wilderness or hang around one of the city’s tennis courts. Although these activities may sound rather mundane in the broad scope of the whole Grand Theft Auto experience, it’s these small touches and distractions that ultimately create a rich atmosphere.

While these images may look incredible, most of us are only concerned with one thing: When will the public be able to experience the joys of GTA V? Product Reviews reports that many believe this sudden promotional push means the game will be released sometime before the end of the year. However, industry analysts feel this probably isn’t the case. All signs point to the game hitting retail shelves in April of next year. In other words, don’t expect Santa to bring you bullet-riddled debauchery this holiday season.
