‘Teen Mom 2′ Leah Messer And Corey Simms’ Daughter Is Losing Weight And Not Eating

Leah Messer and Corey Simms’ daughter, Ali, doesn’t appear to be doing well in a sneak peek of next week’s new episode of Teen Mom 2.

Years after the 6-year-old was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy, her parents are seen chatting about her weight loss and failure to eat regularly on the seventh season of the MTV series.

“Next time we go to Columbus, we might want to mention about her diet,” Simms tells his ex-wife, who seems to be completely unaware of any changes in her daughter’s eating habits.

“How she’s not eating,” Simms continues, according to a report by Radar Online on May 18. “It takes everything I got to get her to eat.”

Although Leah Messer claims her daughter eats just fine when she’s with her, despite a scene which featured her other daughter, 6-year-old Aleeah, complaining about not being fed, Simms insists that something is not right with the child.

“She’s been not eating for a while,” he confesses. “We weighed her and now she weighs 34 pounds. I think she lost weight because she was almost 40 pounds.”

Even though Simms had statistics to prove his concern was warranted, Leah Messer didn’t believe that her daughter was losing weight.

“I just think she’s staying the same I don’t think she’s really gaining. I’ll have to make her a doctor’s appointment I guess,” she responds.

In another recent episode of the show, it was revealed that Ali had been falling more than usual. Luckily, her wheelchair has been fixed, and she has been using it part-time ever since.

Meanwhile on the show, Leah Messer and Corey Simms have been seen feuding over the custody of their twins. Earlier this month, fans watched as the former couple seemed to agree that they should share custody of the children, but in the weeks since, Simms has refiled paperwork to be named as their primary custodian.

“Corey filed these papers. He turned around and filed an injunction to be the primary custodian. I spoke to him after the hearing, and everything went great!” Leah Messer told her sister Victoria in a clip from Monday night’s show, via Starcasm.

According to Leah Messer, she felt like she and Simms were on better terms after they agreed to split time with their children, but suddenly, he had a change of heart.

“I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else,” Leah Messer explained. “No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian.”

Leah Messer went on to complain to her sister that her ex-husband’s fight for custody has hurt their children. She even claimed she didn’t care if he took another breath.

“To do what he’s done to my kids, I — I — I don’t — I don’t care if he takes another breath! And I don’t know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That’s all I can do,” Leah Messer said.
