Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Plan For A Family As She’s Dissed In Blake Shelton’s ‘She’s Got A Way With Words’?

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are looking forward to the future, and for the musical couple, that means discussing their hopes for a family.

While Miranda Lambert has been quite private with her romance with East since the pair began dating in late 2015, sources claim things are getting serious between the couple as they consider a live-in relationship and chat about children.

“[Miranda Lambert and Anderson East] are talking about moving in with each other,” a source told E! News last week. “It’s getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”

In February, just a couple of months into their romance, another E! News source claimed Miranda Lambert was “definitely in love” with East, and children had been on their minds at that point as well.

News of Miranda Lambert and Anderson East’s romance first hit the web in late December of last year, five months after Lambert split from her former husband of four years, Blake Shelton. However, the 32-year-old country singer waited until the following month to confirm her relationship with East, which she did with a photo on Instagram of them cuddling under a flannel blanket.

Several weeks before the debut of Miranda Lambert and Anderson East’s romance, Shelton went public with his relationship with Gwen Stefani, his then-co-star on The Voice.

Since his divorce, Shelton has been hard at work on his new album, and while a number of the songs on If I’m Honest speak of finding new love, especially his duet with Stefani, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” others speak of a messy split. In addition to “I Bet You Still Think About Me,” which was inspired by Shelton’s divorce, “She’s Got a Way With Words” speaks of a breakup.

On May 18, Taste of Country shared several of the song’s lyrics.

“She put the her in hurt / She put the why in try / She put the S.O.B. in sober / She put the hang in hangover / She put the ex in sex / She put the low in blow / She put a big F.U. in my future / Yeah she’s got a way / She’s got a way with words.”

Although the song has been taken by some as Shelton lashing out, possibly against his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, or another former love, Taste of Country noted that Shelton didn’t write the song himself.

After the release of “I Bet You Still Think About Me” earlier this month, Miranda Lambert’s alleged response was revealed.

“[Miranda Lambert] is aware of what country artists do when creating new music,” a source told E! News. “She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it’s just how it goes, especially as a country artist. She is always thinking and currently working on new lyrics and song ideas and many of those ideas steam from the past, present and future experiences.”

“At some point, whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it’s just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn’t work out?'” Shelton explained of the track. “And that’s what this song is about. Even though stuff didn’t work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It’s a sad song.”

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have stayed mum on their reported plans to settle down and start a family.
