Kylie Jenner has been captivating fans with her lips for about a year now. She’s been banking off that curiosity with her ever-popular lip kits. Not to mention, there’s an increased interest in lip injections, according to the Botched doctors. Here are some ways that girls are getting their version of Kylie Jenner’s lips.
Fans have been trying to get their hands on those lip kits. But every time there’s a lip kit launch or restock, they usually sell out within minutes. Now there’s a hacker who is preying upon the social media obsession with the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits. They are sending fake emails to customers in an attempt to get their personal information.
Both regular customers and Kylie Cosmetics VIP members have received the following email, claiming that they won the lip kit giveaway that Kylie has been hosting on her app. While the giveaway itself is legit, the email is not, according to Seventeen.
After this Instagram photo was posted, others remarked that they received the same email. They are also speculating that the emails could have stemmed from the Kylie Cosmetics security breach that occurred back in April.
If you received a similar email from firstname.lastname@example.org, do not click on the link. It will allow the hackers to install software onto your computer that gives them access to your personal information including your full name, address, credit card info, or any other sensitive information you have stored on your computer.
There are some who are wondering if they should bypass the lip kits and get lip fillers like Kylie Jenner does on a regular basis. Kaylin Pound shared her experience with the procedure on Elite Daily. But her obsession didn’t start because of Kylie Jenner. It happened over a year ago.
So she decided to visit the Pearlman Aesthetic Surgery center on the Upper East Side of New York City. After Dr. Pearlman took photos of her lips and discussed the difference between Juvederm and Restylane fillers, he decided that Restylane was the best option.
Kaylin admitted that the procedure wasn’t as easy as it may look. In fact, it can be quite painful. Dr. Pearlman numbed the mouth area with a few injections of Novocain to make sure that she wouldn’t experience pain during the process. Then he injected one syringe of Restylane to give her Kylie Jenner lips, which took about 15 minutes.
While the injections were painless, Dr. Pearlman advised Kaylin that she would experience bruising, swelling, and soreness for a few days later. Her lips and cheeks also appeared puffy after the procedure.
“It basically looked like someone had punched me right in the mouth and felt like it, too. After the novocaine wore off, my lips began to throb and a dull ache crept over the lower half of my face. I experienced a lot of pain and discomfort over the next two days. I’m definitely a baby when it comes to tolerating pain (I’m the type of person who will cry over a paper cut), but these things HURT.”
After a few days, her lips looked filler but not as dramatic as Kylie’s lip fillers. If painful fillers aren’t for you, then you can hopefully get your hands on the one Kylie lip kit you should wear this summer to go with your bronzed makeup.
The “King K” metallic gold lipstick is the best one since it pairs flawlessly with the other lip kits, makes your lips appear fuller, and can even be worn as eye shadow. Kylie launched her three new metallic shades around Coachella: “King K”; “Reign,” a copper gold; and “Heir,” a rose gold shade.
Of course “King K” is currently sold out on the Kylie Cosmetics website, but you can probably find some good dupes elsewhere. What is your favorite Kylie Jenner Lip Kit? Sound off below in the comments section.
