The Brick Wall Optical Illusion Is Freaking Out The Internet — Do You See It?
There are always different puzzles and mind-benders that take the internet by storm, and the newest one has arrived. Last year, there was the dress, and everyone wondered what color it actually was. Before that, there was the giraffe riddle, which drove everyone insane. Recently, there was the pizza math problem. Now, there is the brick wall optical illusion, which isn’t so much a puzzle, but it is freaking everyone out.
Now, this puzzle is a fun one and can be a little frustrating at times, but it’s rather interesting. There isn’t much to figure out, and it’s sort of like trying to find the panda hidden among the snowmen craze that went on for a while.
Without further hesitation, here is the brick wall optical illusion that has taken the internet and turned it upside-down.

Do you see it?
It really does just look like a brick wall, and some truly believe that there is nothing else to it at all. Well, there isn’t a lot more to this innocent-looking brick wall, but there is something hidden that may not be seen with your first view of the picture.
Beware as there are spoilers ahead.
If you haven’t yet seen it and want to figure it out on your own, then you’ll want to stop reading now. The answer to the brick wall optical illusion is about to be revealed, and you will never be able to see it the same way again.
Look for the darker brown spot in the middle of the wall, and you’ll notice that it isn’t really a part of the brick. No, that’s actually a burning cigar stuck in between a couple of bricks and sticking straight out from the wall.
The brick wall was first posted to the Facebook page of Aaron Bevin from the United Kingdom, and he called it the “best optical illusion” he’s ever seen. He doesn’t want anyone to spoil it for everyone else, but it’s kind of hard not to tell the world once you figure it out.
Since posting it on May 16, 2016, his brick wall has gotten a bit of attention. As of this writing, it has over 60,000 comments and 61,000 Facebook likes. Oh, that’s not even mentioning that it has been shared close to 45,000 times.

As the Huffington Post states, don’t feel bad if you didn’t see the cigar without getting hints or if you still don’t see it. There are a lot of people on the internet who refuse to see anything but a brick wall and nothing more.
Make sure to share this optical illusion with your friends, because it’s really a lot more fun than some of the puzzles. See who can find it the fastest.
With this, there is no real wrong or right answer. There is just the act of looking at the picture and finally adjusting your eyes so you can see the cigar. The only problem with images like this one is that once you see it, you’ll never be able to not see it again.

Some are able to catch it immediately while others just refuse to believe there is anything there but a brick wall.
