Susan Sarandon Says Sex Is Her Anti-Aging Secret: ‘It’s Good For Your Skin’

Susan Sarandon revealed that her main beauty secret is sex, according to the Daily Mail. The 69-year-old actress shared her personal secrets to looking young and outstanding on the verge of turning 70.

Susan Sarandon is known for having the energy and heart of a teenager, as the Thelma & Louise actress is a committed activist and constantly keeps herself busy with new film projects. In her interview with the Daily Mail, the actress explained why aging is sexy.

The actress admitted that she was never going to just give up her beauty and come to terms with her older age. In fact, Susan Sarandon has recently been appointed a beauty ambassador, so the actress surely has a secret or two to share with women around the world.

Susan Sarandon interviewed with the Daily Mail at a Beverly Hills hotel to discuss her beauty secrets. And the main secret of the actress is sex.

“Sex – that’s good for your skin, right?”

And clearly nobody would argue that sex isn’t good for your health, as health experts have been touting the benefits of sex for decades. Susan Sarandon has always been known for her rebellious heart, and she has always done things in her own way. So the fact that she freely talks about sex being the main secret behind her beauty isn’t surprising.

Susan Sarandon gave birth to her first child (Eva, now 31) when she was 38-years-old. And then she had two sons in her 40s. And while many would ask why she chose to wait so long to have kids, that’s the thing about the Tammy actress: She does things in her own way and in her own time.

And Susan Sarandon also started doing cardio and boxing in her 40s. In fact, it was her 40s when the actress started getting major roles in such legendary movies as Bull Durham and Thelma & Louise.

Susan Sarandon received her first ever Oscar when she was 49-years-old, for the movie Dead Man Walking. Moreover, the actress started getting tattoos at the age of 61, when she decided to have tattoos of her children’s initials.

And now that Susan Sarandon has become a beauty ambassador for L’Oréal Paris and promotes the brand’s Excellence Age Perfect Brunette hair color line, it gives women even more reasons to listen to the Oscar-winning actress about her beauty secrets.

Susan Sarandon even revealed that she was recently called “a young Susan Sarandon” by a man on a plane. And all Sarandon could think to say was “Thank you”!

And anyone who is a fan of the original 1975 Rocky Horror Picture Show film would remember that the “young Susan Sarandon” was indeed very sexy!

In other news, Susan Sarandon says Woody Allen sexually assaulted a child, according to Page Six. The 69-year-old actress responded to allegations of rape that have been renewed at the Cannes Film Festival against the Blue Jasmine director.

Speaking at a Woman in Motion event at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, Susan Sarandon said she “thinks” Allen sexually assaulted a child and added that “I don’t think that’s right.” Sexual abuse allegations have been circulating around Allen for a while now and were renewed by Cannes event host Laurent Lafitte.

The French comedian made a joke about Allen being convicted for rape, but it turns out he didn’t know about rape accusations around the filmmaker when making that joke, as revealed by Lafitte himself after the Cannes night.

“It’s very nice that you’ve been shooting so many movies in Europe, even if you are not being convicted for rape in the US.”
