Lamar Odom Intervention: Khloe Kardashian Puts Marriage On Hold As ‘KUWTK’ Family Urge For Rehab Treatment

Lamar Odom is in trouble once again — and this time, it’s with the Kardashians. According to reports, the family is furious over the athlete’s decision to start drinking again, to the point where it’s clear that Lamar has formed an addiction.

Earlier this month, photographers spotted the athlete downing several shots of alcohol at a local mall. Previously, photos emerged during Easter weekend, where Odom also was seen drinking with friends at a local bar.

Khloe Kardashian and her siblings have come to the conclusion that Lamar is heading down a dangerous path, one that will eventually lead to his downfall — and this time, the family doesn’t seem to think that Odom will be able to avoid death again.

Lamar was infamously found at a Las Vegas brothel in October, where he allegedly overdosed from substances abuse, including the intake of a generous amount of viagra. Khloe has done everything she can to get her husband back on track, having helped Lamar buy a new home and make better financial decisions now that he’s no longer playing basketball.

But sources allege that the ageing athlete just doesn’t seem to appreciate any of it. He has been given another chance, yet he fails to realize just how lucky he is to still be alive, a source revealed. While Odom may have stopped taking drugs, he seems to have replaced his substance abuse with alcohol, and it has gotten to the point where everyone around him is worried.

The Kardashians are now planning to take things into their own hands, allegedly hatching a plan to get Lamar Odom into rehab as soon as possible.

“Khloé and her family have all expressed concerns. The family doesn’t think Lamar should be drinking, and they are nervous about his behavior,” a source revealed.

“Lamar made a promise to Khloé not to drink or abuse drugs after his health scare. The concerns are that his addictive personality once again is taking over and he won’t be able to control the drinking. There have been talks about rehab for Lamar. He just doesn’t seem to agree with the concerns.”

As the source already mentions, Lamar Odom doesn’t seem to think that he has a drinking problem. He already swears that he’s no longer on drugs, and when he does decide to have a drink, it’s always in moderation. Of course, the Kardashians aren’t convinced, especially with the photos that recently emerged of Odom enjoying several shots of alcohol out in public.

There’s only so much that Khloe and her family can do for Lamar Odom, but they’ve come to the conclusion that they’ll give it their best shot to get the troubled star into rehab as soon as possible.

If Odom fails to cooperate, then they’ll just have to accept his decision, but everyone around Lamar seems to agree that if he doesn’t enter rehab soon, his apparent downfall will lead to a very devastating end.

In the midst of Lamar Odom’s drinking battle, Khloe Kardashian has admitted to being in no rush to refile for divorce from the athlete after the 36-year-old overdosed last year. Khloe stepped in and cancelled plans to finalise the process so that she could make critical decisions concerning her husband’s health during his time in the hospital.

It’s unclear where things will go from here, but the only thing the Kardashians can do is hope and pray for a positive outcome.
