‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: Maddie And Mackenzie Ziegler Bid Farewell To The Girls In Special Reunion Show
Season 6 of Dance Moms is heading toward a bit of a hiatus and the traditional episodes will kick back into gear again shortly. Lifetime is giving viewers several reunion shows before the break, however, and a new one airs on Tuesday night. What can everybody expect from this May 17 show?
Last week, Dance Moms focused on the mothers and Abby Lee Miller while this week’s show focuses on the girls. Mackenzie and Maddie Ziegler, along with their mom Melissa Gisoni, bid farewell to the series in an emotional episode that aired a couple of weeks ago. However, viewers will still get a bit more with Maddie and Mackenzie before all is said and done.

As TV Guide details, the May 17 episode is titled “The Girls Say Goodbye.” Jai Rodriguez is on hand once again to host the gathering and this one is apparently centered around saying farewell to the Ziegler gals. There will be tears among the dancers and some viewers at home will likely shed a few tears as well.
In addition to gathering the girls for an emotional farewell, Dance Moms spoilers indicate that Todrick Hall will pop up and join the gals for a performance that is sure to be stunning. Teasers indicate that the teens will play some games during this episode, and they will answer fan questions as well so it should be a fun episode.
The buzz is that viewers will get to see a handful of routines during this episode including Hall’s “Freaks Like Me” with the full elite team, a duet called “Boomerang” with JoJo Siwa and Kendall Vertes, “I Gotta Dance” featuring the Ziegler sisters, Brynn Rumfallo, Nia Sioux Frazier, and several other dancers, as well as one more performance including all of the elite team gals. It sounds as if “Boomerang” is JoJo’s debut as a singer and her music video will premiere during Tuesday’s show.

Dance Moms spoilers also note that there will be a video montage shown that features many of the show’s big personalities from the past bidding farewell to Maddie and Mackenzie. While the gals will do plenty of joking around, with some teasing that maybe they will have a shot at some wins now with the Ziegler girls gone, there will be tears as well.
Maddie and Mackenzie have been with the show since it began, and Dance Moms will be quite different without them. Of course, there have been other departures over the past few seasons. Since those departures ended on more sour notes, there were not big farewell episodes like with the Zieglers. Brooke and Paige Hyland left several seasons ago, and then Chloe Lukasiak left a couple of seasons ago.
As emotional as this episode will be, the Ziegler girls are not done quite yet. TV Guide details that next Tuesday brings one more show and this one is titled “Maddie and Mackenzie Say Goodbye.” In this one, the two dancers will sit down with Abby and look back on their Dance Moms journey. They will also talk about what comes next for them. As most fans know, Maddie will be a judge on this summer’s So You Think You Can Dance, and both gals have other projects lined up as well.
Will there be a dry eye in the house Tuesday night as Mackenzie and Maddie Ziegler say goodbye to the other elite team girls? This will be an emotional one and fans cannot wait to tune in to the May 17 episode of Dance Moms to check it out as the elite team gathers for one more round of fun and bonding.
