Jesinta Campbell’s Logies Look Criticized By Her Own Fiancé

Jesinta Campbell says even her fiancé didn’t like her sexy Logies look, according to the Herald Sun. The TV presenter and model said her fiancé, Lance “Buddy” Franklin, thought her look at the Logies Awards 2016 was “a bit much.”

Jesinta Campbell opted for a Camilla and Marc outfit, which was criticized by many people. And turns out, her fiancé is among them!

“He thought it was a bit much. I think he preferred me to be fully covered. Head to toe. But he’s always encouraging.”

Jesinta Campbell asked her fiancé to give his opinion about the dress when the football player made a video call before the model left the house for the Logies red carpet. It was her sister Aleysha Campbell who always helps the TV presenter assemble stunning red carpet looks.

“She is my stylist. She is really hands on with it all. I really lean on her when it comes to styling me and making choices on the detail. It’s really chilled.”

Jesinta Campbell added that they found a common language, as they both listen to Rihanna and Beyoncé as well as old-school hip-hop music.

Campbell also said she was excited about the event, which has been celebrating Australian television every year since 1960.

Saying that Australian TV is “incredible,” Jesinta Campbell added that all the talented Australian people gathered at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne last Sunday to celebrate. And it wasn’t just people in front of the cameras who deserve the celebration, but also people behind the cameras.

Jesinta Campbell, a presenter on Channel Nine, and her fiancé will most likely get married later this year, according to the Courier-Mail. But even if their wedding will be held in 2016, Campbell says the whole thing will be secretive without any media coverage.

In her interview with the Courier-Mail last week, Jesinta Campbell said it won’t be “a Big Fat Greek Wedding.”

“We’ll probably just elope, keep it very simple. It won’t be a Big Fat Greek Wedding. I’ll just come back and be Mrs. Franklin and that will be it.”

Rumors have it that Jesinta Campbell could wear a Vera Wang wedding dress to tie the knot with Franklin since the 24-year-old model was spotted visiting the famous designer in the U.S. earlier this year. However, the TV presenter hasn’t confirmed or denied the speculation.

In fact, Jesinta Campbell hasn’t said much about her wedding plans with Franklin ever since the two got engaged in December 2014.

A handful of celebrities posted their Mother’s Day tributes on social media last Sunday, according to the Daily Mail. And that list of celebrities includes Jesinta Campbell, Jennifer Hawkins, Pia Miller, and Ruby Rose.

Famous model Lauren Brant said her mom is a beautiful woman both “inside and out,” while Jesinta Campbell said she was “blessed” to have her mother in her life. While Brant shared a snap of her cuddling with her mom via Instagram, Hawkins posted a photo of herself and her mom, Gail, who had a treatment surgery for kidney cancer in 2015.

Jesinta Campbell wrote a touching tribute to her mother, saying she was “blessed” to have her and posted a beautiful black and white picture of them. In the caption, she wrote that she and her fashionista sister Aleysha Campbell are very lucky to have “Mumma Campbell.”

Jesinta Campbell won Miss Universe Australia 2010 and was the Australian pick at Miss Universe 2010 and placed second runner-up.
