Katie Maloney’s Summer Wedding: Is She Worried About Cheating?
Katie Maloney finally got what she wanted on Vanderpump Rules this past season. Tom Schwartz finally got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Katie was psyched, as she had been waiting for that engagement ring for years. Tom always said that he wanted to be in a better place financially before buying her an engagement ring, but he also realized that Maloney wouldn’t be waiting forever and that he needed to step up his game if he wanted to keep her around.
According to a new Bravo report, Katie Maloney is now revealing that the two of them have chosen a wedding date and they are getting married this summer. It sounds like a summer wedding will be great for her as she gets to style it the way she wants. No word on location yet or whether they are filming the wedding for Vanderpump Rules, but Katie did reveal that she’s in control of almost everything for the wedding.
“I’m getting married this August. I have a dress. I got the dress before we picked a date,” Katie Maloney told E! News as reported by Bravo. “We have a location, we have a date and so now we can really get into the fun part of planning of like colors and who’s going to be my bridesmaids and all of that.”
One can imagine that Katie Maloney has plenty of ideas for her wedding. Maloney had started Pinterest boards long before Tom even proposed to her, so she probably has plenty of ideas. And while Katie is all about ideas and details, it sounds like Tom is still caught up in the financials. He didn’t propose to Maloney for a long time because he felt that he didn’t have enough money in his account. And even though he may not have reached a million dollars, it sounds like he wants to keep the wedding cheap and possibly cut out some amazing treats that Katie has in mind.
“He basically said, ‘We don’t need flowers. We don’t need food. Let’s just get really good music,'” Katie shared about Tom’s vision, adding, “That’s not really how it works.”
It’s probably a good thing that Katie Maloney is in charge of the wedding details. Otherwise, she may just have a get-together with music. And it does sound like Schwartz follows whatever Maloney tells him to do. These two have been dating for a while, and after he admitted to making out with another girl in Las Vegas, Maloney had to rebuild her trust with him. Tom worked hard to get her trust back, and now Katie is excellent at spotting potential cheating situations. In other words, she may not be worried about Tom cheating on her, but she did hint that Jessica Biel should be worried about what Justin Timberlake has been up to.
“Anyone else follow Anna Kendrick & Justin Timberlake on Instagram? Should Jessica be worried?! Oh lawd,” one person wrote on Twitter, to which Katie replied, “I know they are promoting a movie but the body language and the 12 photos she recently posted.”
Apparently, Justin’s body language with his co-star Anna Kendrick caught the eye of Maloney, who didn’t exactly think that they were behaving as they should. Maybe they are just posing for a movie to promote it, but Maloney thought it was in bad taste, considering he’s married with a child. Don’t expect Tom Schwartz to act like this with another woman even if he is promoting a new movie, song, or modeling job.
