Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna Lay Down The Law, How Will Kris Jenner React?

Rob Kardashian just came back into the family fold and already there looks to be trouble in paradise.

On the heels of the shocking announcement that they are expecting a child together, Rob Kardashian and his fiancee, Blac Chyna, have been the toast of celebrity gossip circles. They joyous occasion, coupled with the high profile, has brought Rob Kardashian back into the reality television fold. Diehard Kardashian fans may recall that in January, Kris Jenner gave Rob Kardashian a new house. The decoration of the house will feature heavily in the May 15 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as will Rob Kardashian.

It’s hard to tell if Rob Kardashian is ready to welcome the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan back into his life, or is merely playing nice for the cameras. As much as he seems ready to open up to his family once again, there’s one thing that Rob Kardashian isn’t willing to do.

According to Hollywood Life, an unidentified source close to Rob Kardashian says that he and Blac Chyna have no plans to give their baby a typical Kardashian name. Though their child will be the only family member of the youngest generation to have the last name Kardashian, he or she will not have a first name beginning with “K.”

“He and Blac have been discussing some ideas, but Rob has said he doesn’t want to go down his traditional family path. He wants to set his own family agenda, and doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of Kris.”

While it no doubt breaks some fans’ hearts that there won’t be another K. Kardashian, it seems understandable. Of Kris Jenner’s five grandchildren, none of them have a first name beginning with the letter K.

Rob Kardashian seems to be sending a message; he wants to be part of the Kardashian-Jenner family again, but on his terms. It’s clear that someone involved in Keeping Up with the Kardashians is intent on spinning Rob’s return to the Kardashian-Jenner clan into a family fairytale.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Rob Kardashian was in the market for a new house because of his relationship with Blac Chyna. Before January, 2016, Rob lived with older sister Khloe Kardashian, but Khloe returned home early from a book tour to discover her house trashed and Blac Chyna cuddling with Rob. Reportedly, Khloe threw Rob out of the house in a rage, after which he moved in with Blac Chyna. That didn’t sit well with family matriarch Kris Jenner. After several trips to Blac Chyna’s house to negotiate, Kris purchased Rob’s new house.

Reportedly, Kris also tried to negotiate a split between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, but to no avail. At the time, Kris Jenner’s failure to nix Rob and Blac’s relationship was seen as an example of her loss of influence within the family. The truth may be more complicated. Blac Chyna is reportedly already in the second trimester of her pregnancy. Which might mean that, by the time news of the relationship became public, Blac Chyna was already pregnant.

There are other signs that Kris Jenner’s influence on Rob Kardashian isn’t what it once was. Despite his return to the family flagship reality series, Rob Kardashian recently locked his Instagram account. The move stands in sharp contrast to the rest of the social media savvy family.

Meanwhile, Rob Kardashian seems to have found a new home with his fiancee’s family. According to E! News, on May 14, Blac Chyna presented her mother with a brand new car. In a video posted to Instagram, Blac Chyna’s mother dances and almost cries over her fully loaded 2016 Nissan gift. Rob Kardashian is also in the video, smiling happily.
