With no new information about what happened to Greg or why he went missing, many are questioning what happened and why he was found at home.

Some actor named Greg Ellis was not actually missing after all. He was home. This is known as the Simmons effect.

For now, though, most are just happy to know Greg Ellis is alive and well. Although most well-known amongst gamers for his roles in Dragon Age, Ellis has acted in various different shows and movies over the years as an actor and voice actor.
Ellis appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean films as different British officers and also provided his voice for the video games. Other video games Ellis has provided his voice for include Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Epic Mickey, Clash of the Titans, Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, and Ratchet & Clank Future, just to name a few.
Greg also performed as a voice actor for various characters in children’s TV shows such as Fish Hooks, Bratz, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Ben 10: Alien Force, Phineas and Ferb, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Transformers: Rescue Bots, Sofia the First, and so many more.
Many people may also recognize Ellis from his roles in Days of Our Lives, Gigantic, Touch, CSI, Hawaii Five-0, Forsaken, and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Despite Greg Ellis’ long resume, it was his fans from Dragon Age that really rallied behind him during this mysterious incident. Though it is unclear how Ellis was found, having such great support behind him may have helped.
