Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Ready to Reconcile? He ‘Wants Her Back’
It has been almost a year since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their break-up, but the two have remained close friends ever since. Media outlets have kept a close eye on the pair as fans have spotted the former couple going on vacations together, spending the weekend together with their three children, and even living in the same house. They even recently took a trip to Paris. But does all this mean Ben and Jennifer will get back together?
“Ben wants Jen back,” a source close to Garner told People.
Another source added, “Ben wants to get back together. He wants her back.”
However, despite rumors that Ben wants Jen back, the source says that Jennifer isn’t on the same page.
“Jen is not ready to take Ben back,” the source said. “Ben has never been good alone and isn’t now either. But he is constantly working on himself. He has made big changes.”
According to the Daily Mail, the pair have been keeping the specifics about their divorce secret. They were expected to file for divorce publicly after each of their most recent movies were released: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for Ben and Miracles From Heaven for Jennifer. But both films have already been released and still no divorce has been filed.
Despite this fact, a different source claims that the divorce plans are still on, even though they keep spending a lot of time together. They were spotted embracing at the Vanity Fair Oscar party back in February and have also been seen on numerous occasions dining together with their kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
But a source says that it’s all for the kids’ sake.
“Nothing has changed [in their relationship],” the insider explained. “They’re still all about putting the kids first.”
However, adding to the speculation that Bennifer might become a thing again is a recent trip to Europe by Jennifer and the kids to stay with Affleck while he is busy shooting Justice League.
Perez Hilton reports that the pair went to Paris over the weekend for a four-day getaway. As the family returned to England, an on-looker took note of how relaxed they looked as they walked through the station. The on-looker said that everyone was smiling as Affleck carried flowers and Garner carried an Eiffel Tower replica as they made their way through the St. Pancras railway station.
Nevertheless, another source says that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are only living together and spending vacation time together for the sake of the kids. The source claims that Garner hasn’t rekindled their romantic relationship even though she is now currently living in London with Affleck and the kids.
Earlier this year, Jennifer talked to Vanity Fair about her attraction to the actor. During the interview, Garner says that if she could go back and marry Affleck again, she would. She also added that he’s the love of her life, complementing him for his charisma and generosity. But as bright and great of a guy Ben can be, shared Jennifer, he can also be very cold.
But the couple seems to be pretty happy. And with all of the time they have been spending together, it makes many fans believe there is a chance that they can get past whatever issues made them split in the first place.
