Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s 4-Year-Old Lands Film Role

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s 4-year-old daughter is following in her parents’ footsteps. The preschooler has reportedly landed her first film role, which she will star in alongside mommy dearest.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has landed her first film role, though it probably won’t require much acting on the preschooler’s part. Reports say that Brangelina’s little one will play Princess Aurora, the daughter of Jolie’s villain Maleficent, in a live-action version of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. Little Vivienne nabbed the role at the behest of mother Ange, who told producers that her daughter would be perfect in the part, causing movie bosses to sign her on for the project, reports The Sun.

“Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural. The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles,” a source told the tabloid.

According to NME, the film, titled Maleficent, tells the Sleeping Beauty fairytale with a Wicked-esque twist, following Jolie, the evil queen, as the story’s protagonist. Elle Fanning, 14, will also play Princess Aurora, suggesting that the role played by Vivienne will only be briefly played via flashbacks.

The film began shooting in England in June of this year and is set for release on March 14, 2014. Other cast members include Juno Temple, Miranda Richardson, Sam Riley, and Imelda Staunton. Maleficent will be the directing debut of Oscar-winning visual effects designer Robert Stromberg.

Do you think that Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will make a good addition to mom Ange’s upcoming fairytale film?
