Sorry, ladies, but Leonardo DiCaprio has a new girlfriend.
Leonardo was spotted Thursday having a daytime date with Polish model Ela Kawalec in New York City, as reported in the Daily Mail. The date involved one of DiCaprio’s favorite activities: cycling. The pair cycled through the Big Apple on Citi Bikes. Before their cycling activity, Leonardo and Ela enjoyed lunch at a restaurant with some of their friends.
The Revenant actor went casual during his date with the Polish model, wearing a plain gray shirt, a pair of denim jeans, and blue loafers. Kawalec wore a black leather jacket over a white T-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Both Leonardo and Ela wore a pair of sunglasses, which is fitting considering that it was another sunny day in New York.
The pair looked happy and content as they strolled the streets of New York. If there were any doubts as to whether they are indeed a couple, they were dispelled on Thursday as Leonardo was seen wrapping his arms around the Polish beauty on more than one occasion.
Also, the night before, DiCaprio and Kawalec were spotted hanging out at New York hot spot Bodega Negra along with six of their friends. Wearing his trademark newsboy cap, Leonardo appeared to be in good spirits while vaping to his heart’s content. Ela was glued to her phone for most of the evening.
Before long, Leonardo, Ela, and their friends went to the Marquee to celebrate Tao group partner Jonathan Schwartz’s birthday. According to an insider, the couple engaged in some PDA at the location, as reported by Fox News.
“They were dancing. Leo was dancing with her in his arms and canoodling. They were doing their thing, bumping and grinding,” said the source.

A conflicting report said that “Leo was with his friends all night and went home solo.” Of course, everyone knows now that this isn’t true given that the couple went bike-riding the morning after.
Earlier this year, the Oscar winner and 25-year-old Sports Illustrated model Kelly Rohrbach reportedly split.
“They’ve been broken up for over a month. It was mutual. They both have intense work schedules and a lot going on in their lives right now. They both needed to take a break because of that. They are still friends and talking but it’s over,” a source told Us Weekly.
Barbadian singer Rihanna was also rumored to have had a romantic relationship with Leonardo. During her interview with Hello! magazine, the “Work” singer was asked, “”How does Rihanna DiCaprio sound to you?”
“It sounds to me like you should stay away from the blogs because they will screw you every time,” Rihanna responded. “I’m so busy right now that I just don’t have a lot of time to offer to a man, so it wouldn’t even be fair to be thinking of pulling somebody else into this life. But if I did, he would have to be man enough to live with my schedule and not get scared,” she added.

Leonardo, who has dated numerous Hollywood stars and models, is a strong advocate of raising awareness for climate change. In an interview with Germany’s TV Movie magazine, DiCaprio revealed one important quality when it comes to looking for a partner, saying: “I could never be with someone who doesn’t believe in climate change.”
When he won his first Oscar at the 88th Annual Academy Awards, Leo took the opportunity to talk about climate change, adding that he saw first hand the results of global warming while filming The Revenant.

“Making The Revenant was about man’s relationship to the natural world, the world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in reported history — our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow,” DiCaprio said. “Climate change is real. It is happening right now. It’s the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.”
