Christina Aguilera’s Diva Antics Revealed: Former ‘The Voice’ Star Spills On The Behind-The-Scenes Drama

Christina Aguilera’s ongoing diva antics on The Voice have been revealed. Alongside the feud with Gwen Stefani, Aguilera reportedly blew up after producers decided to feature Pink in a coming episode.

An insider revealed to Radar Online that Aguilera and Pink have a history of conflict. With Pink coming on board as an advisor on the show, Aguilera is not looking forward to working with her longtime rival.

“There are a lot of mixed feelings right now about Pink joining as an advisor. Pink and Christina Aguilera absolutely hate each other, and have for years!” the insider shared. “When Christina found out that Pink was joining she flipped out because she cannot stand her!”

Pink is joining The Voice to advise the eight competitors that remain.

Of course, Pink’s history with Aguilera stretches back some 15 years. For starters, the two feuded with each other when they collaborated on the hit song, “Lady Marmalade!” Pink did not appreciate Aguilera’s need for attention during their time together, and things have not gotten any better since.

The two took part in an interview with Ryan Seacrest a couple of years after their collaboration. While Aguilera told Pink that their kids should get together for a playdate, Pink didn’t exactly react well to the suggestion.

“Ha, ha, ha, NO,” Pink told her.

Pink also dissed Aguilera during a concert in Australia in 2013. After Pink struggled to get her vocals on key, she told the crowd, “God I sounded like Christina Aguilera for a second. I’m sorry!”

Aguilera’s beef with Pink is only the tip of the iceberg. In fact, reports have surfaced about Aguilera’s continued fighting with Stefani and her boyfriend, Blake Shelton.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Aguilera had another outburst on The Voice back in March. Apparently, Aguilera was jealous over Shelton and Stefani’s compensation for their duets on the show.

“Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season…they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.,” a source explained.

At the same time, an insider told Radar Online that Aguilera has been acting out backstage and believes that Stefani has no business being on the show.

“Christina wants Gwen out of the picture and is already throwing mini-tantrums about it,” an insider revealed. “She said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake.”

That being said, former contestant Nick Hagelin told a different story about Aguilera’s actions behind-the-scenes.

“We were all leaving the sound stage on Tuesday, and my son asked her to sign his cast,” he shared. “She dropped everything and signed it for him. That’s how sweet she is.”

In contrast to Aguilera’s reputation as a diva, Hagelin added that “she’s the sweetest, kindest person.”

Hagelin was on Aguilera’s team this season, so his comments do carry a little bias. In fact, along with putting down the diva rumors, Hagelin expressed his gratitude for Aguilera’s guidance.

“It was an amazing experience,” he stated. “She helped me connect with who I am as a person. She was a good pick for me.”

Meanwhile, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Shelton is contemplating leaving the show in the coming season, especially after Stefani was not brought back to replace Aguilera, who is taking a break next season.

“Blake is mulling over the possibility of quitting the show next season,” a source told the outlet. “Gwen is livid that she was not asked to replace Christina next season. And because of this she wants to quit the show all together.”

Shelton has not confirmed his exit from The Voice in the coming season. Even if Shelton returns, many fans are still disappointed that Stefani will not be at his side.
