Pastor Jamal Bryant’s Alleged DNA Results, Abortion Pressure, And 10-Month-Old Son By Latoya Shawntee Odom

Pastor Jamal Bryant is pretty well-known in the African-American community, having pastored the Empowerment Temple AME Church in Baltimore, Maryland, since 2008. Plenty of YouTube snippets of Bryant’s sermons show the pastor examining and incorporating rap lyrics from artists like Jay Z into his messages. And that is the style of preaching that won Bryant a legion of fans in the church and beyond.

Now new and shocking allegations being thrown Bryant’s way are causing shock waves through the Christian community and beyond. Once married to Gizelle Bryant, Jamal’s personal life began to be exposed on a national level when Gizelle, who stars on the reality show titled The Real Housewives of Potomac from Bravo, let the world know that she divorced Jamal after claiming that a woman he’d had an affair with contacted her to let Gizelle know what her husband was up to in her absence.

As reported by Radar Online, once Gizelle confronted Jamal with the adultery accusations, Bryant admitted the affair and told Gizelle the details. Now divorced, the couple continues to co-parent their children. Jamal even made an appearance on The Real Housewives of Potomac.

According to new reports surfacing online, Bryant might have news about a new child that has recently entered the picture. Pastor Bryant is being accused of fathering a son with a woman he wasn’t married to, reports the Christian Post.

Not only is Bryant being accused of getting Latoya Shawntee Odom pregnant after encounters with Odom after a massage, she has also provided documents claiming with 99.9 percent certainty that he is the father of her 10-month-old son. Latoya also claims that Jamal pressured her to have an abortion once she told him that she was pregnant, with claims that news of a son born out of wedlock would “ruin” Bryant, as reported by Obnoxious TV, where the DNA paperwork has been published.

With plenty of attention focused on this growing controversy, the Instagram page of Jamal H. Bryant posted a photo with an animal, and the edict to rethink whatever a person is thinking. Bryant’s inspirational message about God is being met with comments that hint towards exposure of the pastor.

“God can do more than you can THINK, dream or imagine….”

“Yeees Lord he brings things to the light when the holier-than-thou try to hide them by any means necessary.”

Meanwhile, for those wondering how Bryant can continue to be held up as a beacon, and be featured with other pastors in a talk show titled The Preachers coming to Fox this summer — the online scuttlebutt is increasing about Bryant’s role as a community leader and “Black Lives Matter” proponent. The claims of abortion pressure from Latoya are diametrically opposed to what Bryant’s public persona seems to be.

As recently as Tuesday, December 8, 2015, Bryant spoke at a news gathering prior to introducing Democratic presidential candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders. During that event in Baltimore, Bryant took Sanders around the neighborhood of Freddie Gray on a walking tour. Jamal also served as a mediator of sorts during a roundtable discussion with Sanders and leaders in the African-American and religious community.

As reported by the Christian Post, Bryant is still held in high enough esteem for Fox to test Jamal in their talk show called The Preachers, joining three other popular megachurch pastors. The AME Church says that Bryant didn’t suffer the repercussions of other pastors or leaders who’ve been embroiled in adultery because no one came forward. Various Christian organizations deal with such matters in a variety of ways. Some common methods of correction include the church leader taking time off from their pastoral posts to reassess their actions.
