Chloë Grace Moretz’s ‘Intimidating’ Brothers Meet Boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham

Now that Chloë Grace Moretz confirmed her relationship with Brooklyn Beckham, we’re receiving more details about what it’s like to date while you’re famous and have four older brothers.

While promoting her new film, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Moretz explains that she has four older brothers who are always watching out for her, and that means that when a new guy enters the Moretz household, it’s lockdown time. The actress told James Corden of The Late Late Show all about it during her appearance.

“They’re super protective, but I kind of like it. I kind of like when a guy shows up at the door and then I have, like, four very macho men to be like, ‘Hey, what are you doing?'”

In the beginning of their relationship, Moretz stated that her brothers were skeptical of him, but now everyone gets along.

“They like him, so they’re nice to him now. We were all at dinner the other night and I caught my boyfriend texting my brother. … Maybe it’s like, they’re intimidating each other on text message.”

She continued to explain her brothers’ frame of mind, and how they chose to protect her, which she found amusing.

“At the start it was like, ‘What’s he want? What’s he looking for?’ I’m like, guys, I’m the older woman. It’s okay here. I’m in control.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Chloë Grace Moretz confirmed her relationship to Brooklyn Beckham on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live! When she was on the show, host Cohen called her out that during her first appearance in 2014, she was coy about being in a relationship with Beckham. She decided to come out with it during the game Plead the Fifth.

That said, it was very obvious the two were in a relationship just from looking at their Instagrams. Before her appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, both Moretz and Beckham made dedications to each other via Instagram posts, which sparked host Andy’s fascination, considering he brought the posts up.

If she was coy in 2014 about their relationship, it’s understandable. Recently Chloe opened up about how hard it is dating in the public eye. During an interview with InStyle she explained in detail.

“We’re in a relationship. It’s fine. It’s no biggie. And I think that, you know, the more I don’t make it mysterious, the more that people don’t care. So yes, we’re in a relationship. Very exciting news, I’m sure!”

She continued, “It creates a mass frenzy and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments.”

That said fans seemed pretty excited about this pairing:

According to People Magazine, Chloe and Brooklyn started dating in August of 2014. The pair met during a SoulCycle class and became fast friends, but a source told the outlet that Brooklyn was “smitten” from the very beginning, and his parents approved of the relationship, even though Moretz is two years older. Victoria and David Beckham reportedly chaperoned their dates but would leave them alone.

Their first public outing together was at the Teen Choice Awards but they didn’t go as each other’s dates. Everything seemed to be going fine, but by January of 2016, Chloe claimed she wasn’t ready to jump into a relationship. Sounds like she changed her mind.
