Katy Perry Responds To Selena Gomez & Orlando Bloom Scandal As New Video & Details Emerge Of Their Hookup
Katy Perry has become known as a survivor. And when Perry learned that her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, had allegedly hooked up with Selena Gomez, Katy responded in a way that succeeded in getting her message across while making it clear that she’s protecting her heart.

The 31-year-old “Roar” singer became the subject of speculation that her boyfriend had cheated on her with Justin Bieber’s 23-year-old ex-girlfriend when multiple sources circulated photos showing Orlando getting very intimate with Selena in a Las Vegas club.
The lyrics to the song that Katy choose to sum up her feelings about her cheating boyfriend tell the story of a woman who falls in love with a wonderful guy. When he leaves, the woman thinks she won’t be able to survive — but to her surprise, she does.

We would take long walks by the river
Or just sit for hours gazing into each other’s eyes.

And just like the song, Perry had been in love with Bloom until the 39-year-old actor seemed to have drifted away like the “wonderful boy” in the lyrics.

But conflicting details are circulating about what really happened, with a source telling ET that Katy is still in love with Bloom. Perry is “great” when it comes to her relationship with her boyfriend, added the insider.
“Katy and Orlando are the real deal and are totally in love. We’ve never seen Katy this happy and so smitten. They are head over heels for each other.”
But will Perry feel differently as more details emerge with confirmation in the photos? Us Weekly reports that Bloom left the club with the 23-year-old, adding new depth to the cheating controversy.
Initially seen canoodling inside Light nightclub on Saturday, May 7, Orlando and Gomez also were observed rushing for an SUV that waited for them. Bloom, known for Pirates of the Caribbean, had been spotted cuddling with the “Hands to Myself” singer.

The couple got up close and personal, canoodling in a corner booth at the club following the pop singer’s Revival Tour show.
“Orlando was all over her,” an eyewitness told Us. “He kept pulling her close to him.”
With this evidence that Bloom cheated on Perry, Katy’s fans are furious and roaring their support for her, noted Hollywood Life.

“@katyperry Your Katycats love you so much. Don’t forget it,” urged another.
“no there’s much more than the ups and downs in life, you just gotta be strong, love you Katy,” tweeted a loyal member of Team Katy.
But now it appears that Perry herself is still on Team Orlando. Katy seemed to be throwing shade at all the reports that her boyfriend has been cheating on her by terming it a conspiracy, pointed out E! News.
“Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy, check out how cool this is,” wrote Perry, linking a story about Bloom doing charity work in eastern Ukraine.
Orlando is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador who spent time with children in Slovyansk.

And Perry isn’t the only one to approve of Bloom. Adding to the intrigue in the situation, just after Katy tweeted her conspiracy theory, Selena retweeted Perry’s post.
For those still concerned about Katy, however, she’s got a strong support system that has her back. Perry is turning to her pal Robert Pattinson, according to Hollywood Life’s source.
Katy’s BFF Pattinson, 29, has been providing Perry with “a ton of support,” said the insider.
“They spent quite a bit of time together at the Met Gala and Rob knew how much Orlando meant to Katy. He basically just let Katy know that he’s there for her anytime she needs to talk.”
Perry helped Pattinson when he went through his own cheating scandal after photos circulated showing his then-girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders. During that crisis, Katy served as “Rob’s rock,” added the source. Since then, Perry and Pattinson have stayed close.
