Blac Chyna Feeling ‘Blessed’ To Be Pregnant, Rob Kardashian Reveals He Wants To ‘Keep It Private’ In Rare Interview [Video]

In his first on-camera interview since he and Blac Chyna announced they are having a child, Rob Kardashian told reporters that although he’s excited for the new baby, he really wants to keep things “private as can be.” Rob also revealed to E! News that he’s ready to be a dad, adding that “it’s my first time, so everything is exciting, literally.”

“I’m happy and I just like to keep it, you know, keep it private,” Kardashian concluded when pressed further at an event that celebrated Blac Chyna’s 28th birthday as well as the release of her own emojis, which she calls Chymoji.

The interview was a rare one for Kardashian, who has largely stayed away from the limelight for the past few years, preferring to keep to himself instead of appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

On May 6, Rob and Blac Chyna announced to the world that they’re pregnant, sharing the information with fans by releasing a cute emoji of a pregnant Blac Chyna holding her belly over Instagram. It was the baby reveal heard around the world, as the internet broke with the happy news, released just weeks after Kardashian and Blac Chyna revealed that they’re engaged.

While Rob might want to keep on the down low about the new baby, according to sources, the reality star and fiancee Blac Chyna are currently in seven-figure negotiations to allow viewers full access into their world with their own reality show. Although there’s no word about which network might pick up a show about Blac Chyna and her fiancee, sources confirm the couple are closing in on a deal. Since Chyna is reportedly in her second trimester, the couple had better act fast.

Blac Chyna has been more willing to speak to the media about being pregnant, confessing that Kim Kardashian has been a big help, giving Chyna “a lot of tips, actually” about pregnancy and mothering. While this will be a first child for Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna already has one child whom she shares with Tyga, Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend.

Despite reportedly being in her second trimester, Blac Chyna told reporters that she hasn’t had any pregnancy cravings yet and overall feels “amazing” and “blessed” that she’s having another baby.

Although the Kardashian family at first appeared less than thrilled at Rob’s choice of a girlfriend, most of them have come around now that a child is involved. In a teaser clip from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim shares with Khloe that she’s happy Rob found someone, adding that if Blac Chyna “gave him confidence, more power to her.”

However, Kim did criticize her brother, confessing that she wished he had just been upfront about falling in love with Blac Chyna.

“He should have said to us, ‘Hey guys, this is how I feel. I can’t help who I love. And I fell in love with her. Kylie should know this,” Kim concluded.

While Blac Chyna has tried to keep up her busy schedule, she has apparently dealt with some morning sickness, resulting in her missing two public appearances. In a statement to her fans, Chyna apologized for missing the appearances, writing that she “really wasn’t feeling well LAST night which fell over to this MORNING causing us to miss our flight.”

Blac Chyna also promised that she and Rob were “looking forward to them as well” and promised that “new dates are coming soon.” The message was shared before she and her fiancee announced the pregnancy, and the post has since been removed.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian were most recently spotted in Miami, where the model-turned-entrepreneur is scheduled to make several personal appearances or her birthday. The events kicked off at the G5ive nightclub, and Blac Chyna has two more appearances scheduled for May 14 and May 29.

When they arrived at the airport, Blac Chyna and her fiancee wore matching black outfits, but Blac Chyna’s baby bump couldn’t be spotted beneath the heavy zip-up jacket she was wearing.
