Justin Bieber could have had his throat torn out by a stressed captive tiger, claims PETA, after the “Sorry” singer posted a picture of himself with a chained tiger, according to the Daily Mail. The photo was taken at Justin Bieber’s father’s engagement party in Toronto.
On the day of his father’s engagement party, Justin Bieber decided to risk his life by petting the chained big cat. Animal rights group PETA was quick to criticize the “What Do You Mean?” singer for the photo.
PETA sent Justin Bieber an open letter, claiming the tiger came from a zoo in which the owner was charged with animal cruelty. Moreover, the organization attached a video showing a young tiger being brutally whipped by a man who has been charged with animal cruelty five times since that incident.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, PETA U.S. senior vice president Lisa Lange said Justin Bieber is lucky not to have had his throat “torn out” by the chained big cat. She added that tigers used for photo shoots are torn away from their mothers shortly after birth.
“The Bowmanville Zoo, in particular, was caught whipping one tiger more than 17 times, even after the cat was lying on his back in a position of submission and fear.”
PETA also asked Justin Bieber to promise it was his last stunt promoting “abusive outfits,” adding that everyone should avoid cruel and dangerous photo shoots with tigers.
Justin Bieber just recently presented his freshly shaved head after the “Where Are You Now?” singer abandoned his blonde dreadlocks in favor of an edgy buzz cut. And although it was a special day for his dad, Jeremy Bieber, the pop star failed to smile at the cameras.
Apart from taking pictures with the chained tiger, Justin Bieber also posed for a photo with a guest at the engagement bash, former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. The “Promise” singer also took a photo alongside Iron Man and Captain America.

Just last week, Justin Bieber officially unveiled his new haircut, according to Billboard. The haircut is somewhat surprising, as the singer had always opted for longer hairstyles. But this time, Bieber wants to set a new trend in Hollywood and make everyone go for buzz cuts!
Justin Bieber presented his buzz cut on Friday after his concert in Washington, D.C. The “What Do You Mean?” singer even triggered the hashtag #RIPJustinHair to trend on Twitter for a few hours after posting several photos of his new hairstyle via Instagram.
But it was Justin Bieber’s personal hairstylist, Florido, who first hinted that the singer had shaved off his blonde dreadlocks following his Friday night concert. The hairstylist posted an Instagram photo of blonde dreadlock clippings with the caption, “Bye Bye Bye” and the hashtag #justinbieber.
The first event where Justin Bieber presented his new hairdo was Drake’s Views album release party at La Vie nightclub, and his fellow Canadian singer liked Bieber’s new haircut. The rapper released his fourth studio album, Views, on April 29, 2016.
Meanwhile, it looks like Hailey Baldwin is moving on from Justin Bieber once and for all, as the model was photographed cuddling up to a mystery man who had a cigarette in his hand at the Met Gala last Monday, according to the Daily Mail.
Baldwin was the woman Justin Bieber turned to after his heartbreaking break-up from Selena Gomez. Bieber and Baldwin, who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, split earlier this year.
