Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Ready To Wed After ‘Go Ahead And Break My Heart’ Performance?
What’s next for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton? Anyone who watched The Voice on Monday night could see that this couple is totally in love, but are they ready to get engaged and start a family?
Gwen Stefani and Shelton have been sharing their love for one another with fans since it began at the end of last year, and in the last several months, Shelton has grown increasingly close to Stefani’s kids, so a family of their own may be coming soon.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on May 9, Shelton spoke of spending time with Gwen Stefani’s sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, revealing that, while he may have been an exciting addition to their family at first, his cool factor has since worn off.
“They’re so used to me hanging around, it’s just Blake to them, but that’s good though,” Shelton explained.

Weeks prior to the interview, a source spoke to Us Weekly, revealing Shelton was “ready to propose” to Gwen Stefani and hoping to start a family with her in the future. According to the magazine’s report, Gwen Stefani is everything Shelton wants, and her family only adds to the attraction.
During Shelton’s four-year marriage to Miranda Lambert, the pair failed to welcome any children, but now Shelton is hoping to have “kids” of his own.

Before Gwen Stefani and Shelton began dating, they both endured divorces in 2015. Both were highly publicized, especially Stefani’s split from Gavin Rossdale, which reportedly came after she caught him cheating on her with their former nanny, Mindy Mann.
As Us Weekly reported at the time, Gwen Stefani was informed of Rossdale’s alleged affair with Mann by an employee, and in messages sent between the rumored pair on the family’s iPad, Rossdale and Mann allegedly made plans to meet for sex.
In an interview earlier this week, Gwen Stefani opened up about her recently released album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, as well as the trauma that happened before it.
“[The songs] were all written really quickly over a really, really crazy time in my life,” Gwen Stefani explained to Haute Living on May 9. “I had to go through what I went through to be able to open that channel up again and to get to a place that was really genuine, honest, real and pure, and I was doing it for the right reason, which is for myself.”
According to Gwen Stefani, creating her album served as a time of healing.
“I wasn’t thinking about anything else except what the truth was and how I was going to get it out and how I was going to heal,” she explained. “I didn’t want to end up with my life in pieces on the ground. I needed to turn my life back around. That’s why the record has so much magic to me, I think. It was written out of desperation.”
When asked what attracted her to her boyfriend, Shelton, Gwen Stefani added, “When you’re going through a really tough time, there are people that come in your life, like a friend that can help you get through things, and [Blake]’s definitely one of those people.”
