Serena Williams Eats ‘Gourmet’ Dog Food – Snapchats Herself Getting Sick [Video]

On Wednesday, Serena Williams took to SnapChat and shared a series of videos, or “snaps,” showing herself trying gourmet dog food and the after effects that followed according to For The Win.

Serena Williams is a regular on SnapChat and frequently shares candid snaps of herself with her fans. In this particular SnapChat story, she is seen in a casual gray tracksuit with painted hand prints on it and says how she likes that she can not be trolled on SnapChat because she knows people will hate on her for what she is about to share.

“The best thing about Snap [SnapChat] is I don’t have to have to hear anybody hating or just like trolling cause I think this is something you definitely want to hate or troll on,” she said.

Serena Williams is in Rome with her dog Chip, who travels everywhere with her, for the Internazionali BNL d’Italia tennis tournament and is staying at an upmarket hotel that offers a fancy dog menu. The dog menu includes dishes such as rice, vegetable, and meat soup as an entree, pasta, chicken, and vegetables as a first course and salmon and rice as a main course among other things.

“Yesterday he [Chip] had the beef with chicken and vegetables and I promise you that it looked so good it was like fresh greens and boiled chicken and beef and it was seared like tenderly…It looks better than my food.” she said via SnapChat.

Serena Williams eventually ordered the salmon and rice dish for her 3-year-old pooch Chip but then decided to try it herself.

“I’m like, ‘What the heck, I’m going to try a piece. It looks good. So I ate a spoonful. Don’t judge me! I ate a spoonful,” Serena Williams recounted on SnapChat.

Serena Williams continued to document her dog food eating experience and the aftermath that followed.

“Let’s fast forward two hours. I just ran to the toilet like, I thought I was going to pass out. I mean, it did taste weird. I force-swallowed it. It tasted a little bit like house cleaner… I don’t think it’s consumable for humans, and they should’ve wrote that.” She said via the popular photo sharing app.

Within a few hours of eating the dog food, the tennis star was forced to face the consequences of eating dog food and started posting pictures and videos of herself looking very ill.

“So now I feel really sick. It was just a spoonful,” she said. “I am on the struggle boat.”

On the back of the dog food menu, Serena Williams decided to write a little piece of advice for all other dog parents visiting the hotel, according to the Elite Daily.

“If you are human, DO NOT EAT. It makes you S**T!!” she eloquently wrote on Wednesday’s SnapChat story.

Saved videos from Serena Williams SnapChat story have now been created into a short three-minute video and added to YouTube for everyone’s viewing pleasure. Usually, SnapChat stories only last for 24 hours, but thanks to people saving the stories Serena Williams eating then getting sick from dog food is now on the internet forever.

Serena Williams, the No. 1 women’s tennis player in the world, won her first match on Tuesday before eating the dog food and is scheduled to play Christina McHale tomorrow. Hopefully, she will have recovered from eating the dog food by then.
