Meanwhile, the media has been digging up dirt about Dorinda’s boyfriend. John Mahdessian filed a lawsuit against a ski resort following an accident that led to injuries on the property. The court documents found that he’s seeking over $70,000 in damages.
According to the court filings revealed by Radar Online, Mahdessian sustained multiple injuries while skiing on the resort owned by The Stratton Corporation when he visited on Jan. 18, 1997. According to the lawsuit, Mahdessian skied down the Suntanner Trail “when he suddenly and without warning encountered an unmarked, manmade, hazard.”
“Plaintiff collided with this unmarked, manmade hazard and fell. He heard a loud internal cracking sound upon impact,” the papers read.
John claims that he was in control of his skiing and had “no advance warning of the presence of the manmade hazard, and thus has no reasonable opportunity to avoid skiing into it.” The reality star claims he suffered “massive and permanent physical and emotional injuries” from the accident, including a broken back.
The jury sided with The Stratton Corporation and claims that Mahdessian was at fault, not the resort. He ended up owing the ski resort $2,708.11 for trial costs, including court reporting, expert witnesses, and videographer fees. This isn’t the first time that Mahdessian has been involved in a lawsuit. Radar Online has previously exposed a lawsuit accusing him of discrimination against an employee of Madame Paulette back in 2014.
