Kanye West’s Former Bodyguard Speaks Out About Rapper’s ‘Erratic Behavior’: Is He A Time Bomb Waiting To Explode?

Kanye West has been referred to as a “ticking time bomb” on more than one occasion and his recent run-in with his former bodyguard seems to confirm what many have always thought about the Yeezus rapper. According to InTouch Weekly, Kanye West’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis is speaking out about their professional relationship.

In the interview, Stanulis didn’t mince words when he shared his opinion of Kanye West. He wants the world to know just who he is. Although Steve only worked for the “Power” rapper approximately two weeks — 10 days during Paris Fashion Week back in February and three days leading up to the Met Gala, according to InTouch — the short period of time was reportedly long enough for him to get a chance to see the personal side of Kanye West. But he may have only confirmed what many people have thought for years.

“It’s unbelievable how disrespectful and self-absorbed this guy is. It’s crazy,” he reveals. Stanulis also told his side of the story, detailing the series of events that led to his abrupt termination. “I’ve been with a lot of high-end people,” He added, “but I’ve never worked with somebody like that in my whole life.”

Steve went on to recount a number of times when Kanye West’s rage was quite evident. There was also one incident that took place in the studio where Kanye’s alleged sense of entitlement reportedly got the best of him. Apparently, Kanye became aggravated when people in the studio were holding a conversation as he walked by. “He had a studio full of people when he was dropping the album and I have two off-duty cops there working, talking quietly among the wildness when [Kanye] walks by them and goes, ‘Can you stop talking while I walk by you?’ And they were like, ‘What?'” Steve recalled. “This is the type of guy you’re dealing with.”

Stanulis also detailed another incident where Kanye West became embroiled in a heated phone argument. Apparently, the argument became so heightened, an irate Kanye began walking down the highway in New York City because he forgot he’d sent his car out to pick up food. “They were fighting [on the phone] and forgot he sent his car out for food. When he buzzed for his car, his car wasn’t there so he flipped out, had a hissy fit and started walking on the West Side Highway!” he recalled.

Although it wasn’t clear who he was arguing with on the phone, Stanulis has revealed Kim and Kanye argue all the time, according to Hollywood Life. He also revealed how Kim Kardashian interacts with Kanye West and the seemingly disturbing nature of their relationship. “I didn’t see them acting lovey-dovey or do anything of that nature,” he revealed.

“Kim was different around him. For lack of a better example, have you every had one of your girlfriends be an awesome party girl, a lot of fun, but all of a sudden she gets a guy and…she’s a different person? With Kanye,” Steve says, “she puts on an act[and is more reserved.]”

Stanulis’ interview follows a string of reports about his recent termination. For those who missed it, Kanye West fired Steve Stanulis after he assumed the former bodyguard was flirting with his wife, Kim Kardashian. Although Stanulis claims it was all just a big misunderstanding, Kanye wasted no time making an executive decision to remove him from the security staff. Of course, fans are quite familiar with the arrogant side of Kanye West, but Steve Stanulis claims he’s “10 times worse” behind closed doors. So, is Kanye West a ticking time bomb? Apparently, he just may be if Stanulis’ claims are valid.
