Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber enjoyed a romance that seemed so enduring that it caused Beliebers to give the couple their own celebrity couple name: Jailey. The lovebirds recently were seen together in New York, according to the Daily Mail.
After Hailey, a 19-year-old supermodel, reunited with Bieber during his Game Nightclub after-party, Baldwin took him back to her apartment. And signs that the two have reconciled didn’t stop there, because Hailey was seen flaunting a diamond band on her engagement finger.
Baldwin also wore that type of jewelry last year on her left ring finger amid rumors that she and Bieber were getting serious about each other. On the most recent reunion of the two, they left the nightclub party and rushed to an SUV, which headed to Hailey’s apartment.
Baldwin ran into her apartment building with Justin following closely. The latest reunion follows their romantic vacation to Anguilla and St. Barts in the Caribbean. But despite the romance, Hailey has made it clear that it’s not easy dating a famous pop star.
“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls…it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” admitted Baldwin.
But since hearing Selena Gomez’s new song “Feel Me,” which appears to emote about her own romance with Justin, Hailey is shocked and wants answers, a source told Hollywood Life.
“Hailey heard Selena’s new song, which sounds like it could be about Justin, and it has left her confused,” shared the insider. “She wants answers.”
In particular, Baldwin wants to know just what her competition for the Biebs means by her song “Feel Me,” which some have interpreted to throw shade at Justin by telling him that she did all she could, and now, after their relationship is over, he’s saying he misses her.
“No one love you like I love you… I gave you space and time, and now you’re telling me you miss me, and I’m still on your mind.”
But it’s not just Bieber who seems to get dissed by the lyrics. Gomez also targets other women that he’s dated, and Hailey reportedly is taking that lyric and its reference to “she” as the other woman very personally.
“When she ain’t giving you enough to get you through the night, I won’t be caught up in the middle, ‘long as you’re not with me, you’ll always be alone,” Selena sings.
Baldwin apparently got the message, and now she wants to clarify her status. Does “Jailey” still have a future, or should Hailey move on? To make her decision, Baldwin is trying to get the Biebs to be clear with her.
“Hailey needs information about where everyone stands,” added the source. “Hailey has always felt a special connection with Justin and she does not want to be in the middle of a love triangle.”
Consequently, Baldwin is “pushing” for details on the truth about why the Biebs’ supposed ex-girlfriend is singing lyrics pointedly aimed at both Hailey and Justin. Is it revenge, or does Jelena have more of a chance than Jailey?
While Baldwin waits for answers, the Biebs has sent a message to his Beliebers in the form of an Instagram rant. That post follows his announcement in March that he was cancelling future concert meet-and-greets, pointed out People.
In his Instagram post, the 22-year-old pop star ranted that he feels like a “zoo animal” because of the incessant demands from fans for photos. In particular, he felt upset by fans who felt that because they had purchased his album, they deserved to get their photos taken with him.
And that post has caused a debate among his fans, in particular because it resulted from a situation where Justin went to play pool with a friend. A family interrupted his game and made it clear that they felt they deserved a photo because of their album purchase.
Some Beliebers are responding with anger, while others feel that he deserves his privacy. To that debate, Bieber responded.
“I love the fact that I am able to make people happy…if you truly were in my position you would understand how tiring it is,” he wrote. “I’m going to keep making decisions I feel are fit for my growth and no human being will make me feel bad for it.”
