Holly Madison Says She And Bridget Marquardt Have Always Been Friends, Unlike Kendra Wilkinson Who Plays For Ratings

On last week’s episode of Kendra Wilkinson’s WE tv reality show Kendra on Top, Kendra met up with Bridget Marquardt, with whom she starred on E!’s Girls Next Door for five seasons, from 2005 to 2009. That reality show followed the lives of Kendra, Bridget, and Holly Madison as they lived in the Playboy mansion as Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends. Kendra and Bridget’s reunion on Kendra on Top was the first time that fans saw them together on TV since Girls Next Door ended.

Now that Bridget has appeared on Kendra’s show, will viewers soon see Holly on it? Perhaps there will be a mini Girls Next Door reunion? Don’t count it. While Kendra wondered on her show whether she and Holly should “hear each other out,” Holly pretty much told People, during an interview that was published on Wednesday, that a reunion is out of the question.

“I don’t think there would be anything positive about us meeting up. It’s not a real friendship and it’s not part of my life anymore.”

Holly explained that while she and Bridget have always been friends off-camera, the same can’t be said for Kendra. Holly, who has been embroiled in a bit of a public feud with Kendra ever since her Playboy memoir Down the Rabbit Hole came out last year, declared that she’s done playing Kendra’s games.

“Bridget and I have always been friends off camera. There’s a big difference between what’s real and what’s genuine versus someone who is like, ‘I want to be in a feud with you this week because it’s good for ratings. I’m done playing those games.”

According to Holly, she, without the cameras around, actually tried to be friends with Kendra years ago. Holly implied that it’s Kendra who is fake by stating that she won’t let herself be jerked around based on what’s good for Kendra’s reality show.

“A friendship with her was something I tried to work out off camera years ago. But I don’t want to let myself and my friendship with someone be jerked around based on what’s convenient for someone’s reality show. She can bad mouth me or put words in my mouth, but I’m not going to fall for that.”

Holly added that while she wishes Kendra the best, she has moved on from her Playboy and Girls Next Door past.

“I wish her the best, but I’m done with that portion of my life. I’ve moved on. I’m happier now.”

Prior to Kendra Wilkinson’s reunion with Bridget Marquardt on Kendra on Top, Kendra explained to the camera that she never saw herself as having real friendships with Bridget and Holly Madison.

“My perception on me, Holly and Bridget — I never saw it as a friendship. They weren’t my type of friends. You know, they were into dressing up. They were into pink stuff. And I’m a tomboy — I was into sports. Yeah, of course we would talk and have little moments together, but we just lived together. We did what we had to do.”

Kendra added that she hasn’t kept in touch with them because she doesn’t do things for publicity.

“I just don’t like to be friends with people for publicity. It’s fake, it’s gross and I’m not into it.”

Yet Kendra changed her tune, at least in regards to Bridget, when she came face-to-face with her. Bridget brought up the negative comments that Kendra told the press last year. Bridget said that she really did consider herself and Kendra friends. Bridget pointed out that she was there to celebrate some of Kendra’s important life events even after the cameras weren’t there.

“I don’t follow a lot of the press or the tabloids and that kind of stuff but when I saw things like, ‘Well, we were never friends’ and ‘She’s not appreciative,’ and things like that, I’m thinking all the things that we did together — like all the time at the mansion, from all the traveling around the world….We weren’t always best friends, but we definitely had each other’s back, and I definitely consider you a friend. Even after that, like [your] wedding and baby shower, and things like that, to say that we were never friends kind of like illegitimizes all of that time that we had together and all the things that we did.”

Kendra actually apologized to Bridget. Kendra admitted that her comments were her way of trying to distance herself from the Playboy world as much as she could and that she was wrong. Yet, when it came to Holly, Kendra maintained that Holly was fake and that they were never friends. Bridget mostly stayed quiet when Kendra criticized Holly but said in her confessional interview that Kendra publicly blasting Holly wasn’t right.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Bridget publicly supported Holly last September when Kendra publicly lashed out at Holly for “rewriting history” when it came to their time in the Playboy mansion via her memoir.

Bridget Marquardt, who is currently busy planning her wedding, ended up showing Kendra Wilkinson her engagement ring. Kendra declared the ring beautiful. Perhaps both Holly Madison and Kendra will be guests at Bridget’s wedding?
