Liam Payne has big plans for his future, according to Unreality TV. Although it looks like One Direction is not coming back together for another four years, the 22-year-old singer could have something exciting coming his way later this year.
Amid this week's reports that One Direction may not end their hiatus sooner than in 2020, it seems that the boyband's fans could expect more songs from the solo careers of One Direction's members: Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
One Direction announced they would be taking an extended break earlier this year, and the boyband's fandom went crazy. And there had been no news of their plans for the future until very recently. But the news is not exactly satisfactory for the fans of Liam Payne and the rest of the group.
Emma's Hit List:@onedirection... sad news fans, rumours that the band won't reunite until 2020..In an interview prior to the release of One Direction's Made in the A.M. last year, Liam Payne and his fellow band members said they didn't want to set any time frame because they had no idea of the band's future. It seems that they didn't want to trigger chaos among One Direction fans if they failed to return when they promised they would.

And it makes total sense. But what doesn't make sense is that why Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson need four years to regroup and end the hiatus. And some One Direction fans already express doubts about whether the lads are planning on reuniting at all.
In fact, Simon Cowell admitted earlier this year that he is not sure whether the hiatus is just a temporary break or whether it could turn into a split of the boyband. So naturally some One Direction fans don't believe Liam Payne and co are planning a reunion at all, especially given recent reports that there is tension between the lads.

And although Liam Payne seems to be on friendly terms with the rest of his the band, Louis and Harry have tension between them, according to the Daily Star's source.

"To make matters worse, Louis and Harry are not even speaking as tensions run high between them. They weren't talking at the end of the group and things have not eased. It may be a long time before that relationship gets better."Louis and Harry reportedly had a falling out, which prompted the band to take a break. But can the rest of the band – Liam Payne and Niall Horan – remind Louis and Harry of all the great moments that they have had together? And could One Direction fans give proper motivation for Louis and Harry to forget about those tensions once and for all? Only time will tell...
News of the extended split comes amid reports that Liam Payne is preparing for a solo tour later this year.

In fact, the reality show's producers are currently on tour around the country to review auditions for the next season.

Another indication that X Factor has plans on Liam Payne could be a video shared on the X Factor Instagram page last week, in which Payne is seen preparing for his debut audition years before One Direction was formed in 2010.
It's yet unclear whether or not Liam Payne will indeed join the X Factor judging panel later this year, but there will surely be new judges to replace Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl.
