Sumner Redstone has been at the center of controversy for quite some time following a bitter breakup with his former girlfriend, Manuela Herzer. Now, it looks like they’ve finally resolved their issues, but Herzer may not be very pleased with the outcome. According to the New York Times, the lawsuit filed against Sumner Redstone following the breakup has been dismissed by Judge David J. Cowan of Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, May 9.

“There is no good cause for further judicial involvement where the court has now heard directly from Redstone that he has lost trust in Herzer, does not want her in his life and instead wants his daughter Shari to look after him if necessary,” the judge wrote in his ruling.

Following their split, Redstone decided to make adjustments to his estate plans by removing Herzer from his will. Sumner Redstone requested that his daughter, Shari Redstone, replace Herzer as his health agent and make medical decisions on his behalf. As expected, the change came with opposition. So, in an effort to block the executive order, Herzer filed a lawsuit against Redstone citing mental incompetence.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Herzer argued 92-year-old Sumner Redstone was mentally incompetent to make the request to have her removed from his will. But, apparently, the judge felt otherwise. Previous reports stated that Herzer claimed she filed the lawsuit out of concern for her ex’s well-being. But, his attorney believed otherwise.

“Ms. Herzer’s claim that she filed this lawsuit out of concern for Mr. Redstone is preposterous. It is a meritless action, riddled with lies, and a despicable invasion of his privacy. It proves only that Ms. Herzer will stop at nothing to pursue her personal financial agenda,” stated Redstone’s lawyer, Gabrielle Vidal.

The latest reports about the dismissal of Herzer’s lawsuit against Sumner Redstone follow a bombshell report revealing dark secrets about his raunchy sexual trysts. A number of graphic recordings have been obtained by Radar Online and it seems as if there’s a dark side to Redstone many people may have never known about. In 2015, a string of reports were released about Sumner Redstone’s alleged obsession with sex, according to New York Daily News. Now, there’s reportedly audio evidence to prove it.

An unnamed woman has reportedly spoken out about Redstone’s history of sexual trysts and the organized orgies he would partake in prior to his health complications. The woman’s recorded conversations with Redstone have also been released. Based on the nature of the conversations, Redstone has participated in numerous orgies involving both men and women. Although the sexual tryst rumors have yet to be confirmed or denied, the publication has confirmed that Sumner Redstone is, indeed, the man on the audio.

Despite all of the allegations and the confusion surrounding Herzer’s lawsuit, Redstone’s daughter is quite pleased with the outcome of the case. Shortly after the lawsuit was dismissed, she released an official statement. “I am so happy for my father that he can now live his life in peace, surrounded by his friends and family,” Shari Redstone, vice chairwoman of CBS and Viacom, said in a statement. However, Herzer’s lawyer reportedly plans to appeal and file a new lawsuit for $100 million.
