Jenna Bush Hager Plays Matchmaker To Prince Harry — Will The Royal Bachelor End Up Dating Barbara Bush?

Is Jenna Bush Hager a royal matchmaker? The daughter of George W. Bush used her Today show interview with Prince Harry to talk about his love life. While talking to Prince Harry about the Florida opening of the Invictus Games, she suggested her own sister as a possible date for the troublemaking prince.

During the interview, Jenna referred to Prince Harry as “one of the world’s most eligible bachelors.” Then, the former first daughter suggested that he might be interested in her single sister, Barbara Bush.

“Does it make you laugh that people are already asking you about children? I mean, it’s sort of jumping ahead a couple steps,” Bush Hager said.

It turns out that Prince Harry is currently single.

“Everybody’s always asking me. I have no idea. I haven’t even got a girlfriend at the moment,” he replied.

“I have a single sister and she feels the same way. Listen, she’s available,” Bush Hager quipped. “She’s going to kill me.”

From the sound of it, the royal bachelor might actually be interested in Jenna Bush Hager’s minutes-older sister. Prince Harry told Jenna that they would talk about the matchmaking with Barbara Bush off-air.

That’s when Jenna told him, “Okay, I’ll give you her number.”

According to People, Barbara Bush has always been rather private about her love life. The last person she was romantically linked with was Miky Fabrega, and they reportedly dated for around four years. Bush also has been asked about her plans to have children before she was even in a serious relationship, so she knows the struggles Prince Harry faces as fans and family continue to wish they’d settle down while they are focused on something entirely different.

Right now, Prince Harry is focused on the Invictus Games. The second annual event kicked off in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, May 8. The Invictus Games are a sporting event that Prince Harry organized for sick and wounded armed services members to compete and show off their amazing training and talent.

The Invictus Games are the British royal bachelor’s take on the U.S. Warrior Games that began in 2010. Prince Harry admitted that he saw a British team compete in the Warrior Games and wanted to create his own version of the event. The first games run by the prince were in 2014. The event took place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. It was reported that Prince Harry’s Invictus Games attracted 300 people from 13 different countries.

The 2016 version of Prince Harry’s event attracted over 500 people from 15 countries. Competitors can participate in 10 different events that include wheelchair basketball, rowing, and swimming.

Prince Harry’s main reason for speaking with Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show was to promote the Invictus Games. In addition to speaking about his personal life, the British royal bachelor also spoke about his mother, Princess Diana, and his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

Prince Harry tends to keep his romantic life as private as possible just like Bush Hager’s big sister. He was involved in a rather serious relationship with Cressida Bonas, but that ended in 2014. He has been linked Chelsy Davy prior to Bonas.
