‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Reacts To Corey Simms Custody Drama, Teases Of Relationship With Boyfriend T.R. Dues?

Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer spoke out on Twitter on Saturday about recent reports claiming her ex-husband, Corey Simms, had filed new court documents to regain full custody of their twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah Simms, 6.

After claiming at the end of last week that she was unaware of any new documents for custody, Leah Messer returned to Twitter, where she told fans she hadn’t been watching the MTV series.

While Leah Messer denied receiving new custody documents, the upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 7 shows her and her sister, Victoria, chatting about papers filed by Simms.

“Corey filed these papers. He turned around and filed an injunction to be the primary custodian. I spoke to him after the hearing, and everything went great!” Leah Messer told her sister in a sneak peek of tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2, via Starcasm. “You know, we were actually kind of communicating, and thought that we were going to be able to co-parent the way we used to.”

Simms was named as the primary custodian of Ali and Aleeah at the end of last year after a court had determined he was better suited to have the girls for the majority of the time. However, as fans saw during last week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, he and Leah Messer later returned to court where they appeared to come to a joint agreement.

However, as the new episode shows, the alleged agreement didn’t last very long.

“Today I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian. Who cares? Why are you making a big deal out of nothing?” Leah Messer said to her sister. “I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else. No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian.”

Leah Messer and Simms’ latest custody hearing, which aired last week, took place in January of this year, and according to Us Weekly, it resulted in a 50/50 custody split between the former couple.

“It’s a control thing,” Leah Messer continued. “Now it’s a control thing. He jumps into this family lifestyle and feels like he’s the better parent. He’s the more stable parent. He needs them.”

Leah Messer seemingly went on to accuse her ex-husband of hurting Ali and Aleeah as he continued to fight for custody.

“To do what he’s done to my kids, I — I — I don’t — I don’t care if he takes another breath! And I don’t know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That’s all I can do,” Leah Messer said.

Leah Messer and Simms were married briefly years ago, but after Messer had admitted to being unfaithful to Simms just days before their wedding, they parted ways. Following the split, Leah Messer went on to marry her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, before their marriage came to an end in 2015. Since then, Leah Messer has reportedly been dating T.R. Dues, but she continues to keep him hidden from Teen Mom 2 fans.

On Saturday, after The Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed Leah Messer and Dues were still together despite her claims of a split last month, Messer offered the following tweet to fans.
