Beyoncé's Cousin Admits She & Jay Z Have Split Multiple Times, May Still Divorce

Beyoncé's cousin, actress Shanica Knowles, is dropping some serious bombshells about Beyoncé's marriage to Jay Z and admitting that there's a chance the couple could still divorce in the wake of the alleged cheating drama the star appears to sing about on Lemonade.

Knowles spoke out about the current state of Beyoncé and Jay Z's marriage in a new interview with Britain's Heat magazine, where she spilled the beans about their past break-ups and what lies ahead for the twosome.

"[Beyoncé has] admitted that she still may end up divorcing him. It's up to Jay to continue fighting for her and prove that he's determined to do whatever it takes to keep his wife," Shanica recently told the magazine, admitting that Beyoncé's very candid Lemonade lyrics are her way of getting out her anger about Jay Z's alleged cheating and infidelity.

"Beyoncé's been encouraged to write about the affair rumors to help her deal with it all and help her determine whether she could work through everything or had to end the marriage," Knowles continued to Heat, revealing that Beyoncé overcoming her husband's supposed cheating has been a "long process."

"This has been a long process and I've heard they've had to deal with silent separations and splits over the past few years," Shanica said, "but Beyoncé is praying that this album will actually save their marriage."

Knowles also told the magazine that her cousin has felt a lot of "intense anger" towards her husband of eight years following the cheating allegations but is now learning to let go and forgive.

"She's been through the intense anger and I think she's now learning to forgive Jay," Shanica said, confessing that the next few months following the release of Beyoncé's latest album will be very telling for the spouses, who married in 2008.

"The next few months are going to be the test – this is now make or break for them," Shanica Knowles told Heat, "but Bey's determined to do everything she can to make it work."

Reports that Beyoncé's cousin is claiming that Beyoncé and Jay Z's relationship is still on the rocks follows weeks of claims that Beyoncé was alluding to Jay Z's cheating on her new visual album, Lemonade, which dropped on April 23.

"The album says it all," a source told Us Weekly of Beyoncé's release last week. "It explains how she and Jay got through their problems. The good outweighed the bad, so she gave him a second chance."

Although neither Beyoncé nor Jay Z have confirmed reports that Lemonade discusses Jay Z's cheating, the site recently claimed that is the case and alleged the rapper is preparing to fire back and tell his side of the story on his next album.

An insider close to Beyoncé and Jay told the site, "Jay is working on an album telling his side of things" that could once and for all clear up reports that he has been unfaithful.

Hollywood Life is also reporting Jay Z is planning to tell his side of the story on his upcoming release, with a source admitting that "Jay may air some dirty laundry on the new album about Beyoncé" but will allegedly give his wife first refusal on any new material.

"She doesn't want it to be a surprise to her," the site's insider claimed. "Beyoncé wants to be aware of what Jay is going to rap about and how. She loves being in control and doesn't want to be blindsided by anything."

"Jay is being respectful and allowing her to listen to the tracks, like he always has for all his albums he has put out while they have been together," Hollywood Life's source continued.
