Megan Fox’s Nude And Sex-Fueled Screentime Days Are Over: Here’s Why

Megan fox has recently sworn off any future sex scenes or other onscreen debauchery of the erotic variety, and her reason for doing so has the potential to offend a lot of other female celebrities.

Now that Fox’s two children, two-year-old Bodhi and three-year-old Noah, are growing up and she is pregnant with yet another, Megan does not want them to even have the potential of seeing sexually suggestive clips of photos involving their mother.

“There are just certain things boys should never see their mothers do,” Fox told The Sun.

She went on to reveal that HBO recently approached her with a TV role in which she would be playing a prostitute. She didn’t say so, but one can assume she turned it down.

“It has very graphic sex scenes — things you would see in a pornographic film,” Fox continued.

“It’s up to the mother to determine what she thinks her children can handle seeing or not. I don’t think my children should ever see me doing some of that stuff. I don’t think my boys could handle that. They can’t separate the experience from the reality from the art. It gets very confusing when it’s your own mother.”

Who can blame her?

But, points out The Daily Star, Megan Fox’s decision to abandon her steamy material cannot be an easy one for her. After all, the Daily Star reports, she enjoys doing the scenes. Extremely provocative scenes like the one where she strips down and compares her body with Leslie Mann’s in This is Forty, the long kiss with co-star Amanda Seyfried’s character in Jennifer’s Body, the iconic “tummy scene” from her breakthrough role in 2007’s Transformers… they’re all classics, and they’ve all helped make Fox the sex symbol she is today.

Even Megan herself admitted that oftentimes she is hired purely as a beautiful body and that she did not work as hard as most actresses for her fame.

“I’m not like a silly, stupid little actress but I don’t care if people only want to hire me to look pretty,” Fox said.

In addition, Fox alluded to in her interview, her self-imposed restriction to say goodbye to silver screen romance will more than likely force Megan out of many potential movie parts.

“There are some good projects I’ve read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can’t have my sons ever know or see,” Fox said.

By implying that displaying your wild side to the public is not something a responsible mother should do, Megan Fox runs the risk of alienating some of her fellow female celebrities.

For example, Julianne Moore is an actress who has done some extremely sexual things onscreen throughout her career, including full frontal nudity in 1993’s Short Cuts or a threesome involving her onscreen son in 2007’s Savage Grace. The fact that Moore has two kids, aged 14 and 18, has never slowed her down one bit, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. One has to wonder what Fox would have to say about Moore’s situation and what would be Moore’s response.

Actresses are not the only ones who could be offended by Megan Fox’s implications, either; another example is Britney Spears. The Inquisitr previously noted that Britney is also the mother of two children but is not ramping down her “public sexuality” levels. In fact, she is planning on getting even raunchier and more sensual as part of the comeback she is planning on initiating at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Britney is a very dedicated and loving mother who spends a lot of time with her kids and regularly gives them shout outs, but she is not trying to shelter them from their mother’s sex-fueled empire. What say you, Megan Fox?

And don’t even get us started on Kim Kardashian, mother of North West and son Saint West.

In any case, it doesn’t sound like we will be seeing Megan Fox strip down again anytime soon. At least, not for many years.

Do you think Megan Fox’s decision is well-founded or overprotective?
