Donald Trump Gets Photoshopped Onto Movie Posters

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is part of a viral online campaign that shows Trump’s image being superimposed onto a variety of movie posters. Trump’s likeness is already being used on TV shows such as Scandal, wherein a candidate who said things similar to what Trump has said found himself initially rising in the ratings until Olivia Pope orchestrated his downfall with a carefully placed smartphone that recorded his true thoughts.

Well, now folks are turning to social media to express their true thoughts about Trump in a series of images that have gone viral, according to 9Gag. Even Trump’s hands are the subjects of one of the movie posters.

According to the publication, it is now a trend on the web for people to use their wits and Photoshop skills to create a witty one-sheet of Trump as he might appear in a popular movie.

For example, one of the photos of Trump shows his face in place of Matt Damon’s face as he appeared in an astronaut suit in The Martian. Instead of the words “bring him home” on the front of the movie poster, Trump’s version pleads with everyone to “leave him there.” Whereas Matt’s character was stranded on Mars and was beloved by a crew that risked life and limb to bring him home, Trump’s version of the movie poster created by web users says don’t waste the time and effort to bring The Donald back to Earth.

Next up in the series of Trump movie posters, the movie Walking Tall has gotten an update since the days of 1973, when the thriller/drama first appeared with a description that let viewers know the man with the big stick was bent on revenge.

“Tennessee Sheriff Buford Pusser (Joe Don Baker) carries a big stick after thugs beat him up and kill his wife (Elizabeth Hartman).”

In Trump’s version, he’s not walking tall, but Trump is “talking wall” — building a wall between Mexico and America, that is. “Inspired by a true story,” the movie poster reads — and shows Trump carrying a big stick and walking with a smug expression on his face next to a wall with an American flag flying atop it.

While some of the movie posters with Trump’s name and images superimposed on them are a bit NSFW, plenty of them spell the messages that are decidedly anti-Trump. Instead of A Clockwork Orange, based on the 1971 sci-fi film, Trump’s orange tone to his face and hair is made fun of in the movie poster, which turns the word “clock” into a naughty word.

“Being the adventure of an old man whose principal interests are money, racism, and himself.”

The 2001 movie Donnie Darko gets an update with a movie poster called Donald Darko, featuring Trump telling America that it’s time to wake up.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s movie from 2009 titled Bruno gets an update, with Trump appearing in the tight little yellow outfit in a field.

“They said it would never happen but it has: Trumptino.”

Trump gets turned into the scary shark from the movie poster Jaws, with Trump’s face portraying a toothy expression beneath the water as a woman swims above on the surface.

Instead of Batman Begins, a very NSFW nickname is given to Trump in another movie poster, featuring Trump pointing directly at the camera with an index finger motion that Trump often used when he spewed the words “You’re fired!” on TV.

As seen in the top photo above – which isn’t one of the viral Trump movie posters – Trump waves and mounts the stage at a rally that was held on Saturday, May 7, in Lynden, Washington.
