Donald Trump Gleefully Resurrects Bill Clinton’s Affairs After Hillary’s Attack Ads

There’s one thing about Donald Trump that’s clear from the outset. When you throw mud at him, the presumptive GOP presidential drags you into the pigsty.

That’s just where Hillary Clinton found herself after unleashing two ads attacking the billionaire for his views on immigrants, Muslims, women, abortion, and guns in schools

To backtrack, the Democrat presidential front-runner ran an ad that turns the spotlight on the former reality show host, particularly on his first policy to allow guns in schools. He hinted as much during a town hall meet hosted by CNN back in January of this year.

“I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools, and — you have to — and on military bases,” he proclaimed. “My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There’s no more gun-free zones.”

Hillary Clinton’s ad also called out Donald Trump for his views on abortion, specifically on jailing women who terminate a pregnancy unless life threatening as he said that there must be some sort of “punishment.”

Another ad, however, by Clinton’s campaign team enlisted Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney and Carly Fiorina to air their view against Trump. There’s nothing new in their accusations—Trump being dumb, a bully or even sick in the head—but the brazenness of coopting GOP stalwarts took the attack to another level.

Donald Trump, in response, resuscitated a dead issue reportedly to highlight Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy.

During a political rally in Spokane, Washington, he said that Hillary Clinton’s hands were never clean when it comes to abusing women, and that’s because of her glaring silence over Bill Clinton’s numerous dalliances while still in the White House.

In effect, her silence was perceived as tacit approval over his infidelities.

“Hillary hurt many women — the women that he abused,” he said. “And just remember this — she was an unbelievably nasty, mean enabler, and what she did to a lot of those women is disgraceful.”

He said that the women that Bill Clinton seduced and abused while in power can be considered as victims twice over because of the way the former Secretary of State “treated them after everything went down.” And that’s saying a lot because if Donald Trump’s allegation is to be believed, Bill Clinton has victimized more women than perhaps any politician in U.S. history.

The most sensationalized scandal to hit the White House was when a former intern, Monica Lewinsky, came out and described her affair to the media in all its sordid details. The scandal snowballed into a series of investigations that almost led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton. He was eventually acquitted of the charges.

Bill Clinton was only the third U.S. president to have faced impeachment proceedings after Andrew Jackson and Richard Nixon.

This wasn’t the first time that Donald Trump has accused Hillary Clinton of using her gender to sway people into her favor. Just a week ago, the billionaire accused the former First Lady of milking the “woman card” to gain sympathy votes.

It’s not just that Hillary Clinton is using the woman card, but using it to levels never seen before in American politics is something to behold, according to Trump. In fact, if the roles were reversed and Clinton ran as a man, she couldn’t even win a local council seat.

Hillary Clinton, for her part, did not back down from Donald Trump’s accusation as she declared during a rally in Philadelphia, “Well, if fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the woman card, then deal me in.”

The nominations are drawing to a close as the primary season ends June 7. With Donald Trump a virtual lock for the GOP nomination, Hillary Clinton is expected to ramp up the attacks against the billionaire to secure the Democratic nomination.
