Britney Spears Writes Sweet Mother’s Day Letter To Sons And Honored With Prestigious Award
On Mother’s Day, the usual tradition involves children showering their mothers with gifts and cards that remind her about how much she is loved and appreciated. This year, as Elite Daily shares, Time magazine gathered a number of letters written by celebrity mothers. The results were heartwarming.

One such mother is none other than Britney Spears. The entertainer has been very public about how much she cherishes her two boys by taking to Instagram on the regular, where she posts photos and videos of the pair and gushes over how incredible they both are.
If Spears’ sons Jayden James and Sean Preston didn’t already know how special they are to their mom, the published letter Spears wrote to them in Time will certainly solidify their understanding of this fact. Although there were other letters written from a variety of celebrities, Britney’s was among the most touching.
“To Jayden and Preston
You are my masterpieces. From the day I saw the most precious eyes, I believed in miracles to the core. Such a gift God has given me, exploring in your beautiful worlds every day. I pray as a mother I teach you strength and passion to carry through the struggles in the world. Most battles will always be won on your knees. I pray you find your dreams.
God always comes to us in tiny whispers. I pray you always find his whisper and understand the true meaning behind following your inner voice as well.
Always believe in yourself and know anything is possible. I pray dreaming awakens your soul to limitless possibilities. I hope the most precious mysteries of life stay with you always and you are never ashamed of how bright your light truly is. I hope you learn praying alone is when you are most connected to God, and know you are never alone. He is with you always.
I pray you laugh, love and soar through your journey of life.”
Additional letters came from an interesting group of participants including Ivanka Trump, daughter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the mayor of Baltimore, Amber Rose, Lisa Vanderpump, Laila Ali, and Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo.
In addition to winning the award for best Mother’s Day letter, Spears will be presented with an actual award that is one holding great prestige. Blasting News shares that the “Toxic” singer will be receiving the Billboard Millennium Award.
“The 34-year-old Princess of Pop will follow in the footsteps of previous big name winners of the prestigious prize that marks outstanding career achievement, including Beyonce and the much-missed singer Whitney Houston.”
The award comes as recognition to the achievements Spears has experienced since coming on the music scene. As the publication reminds, Spears has raked in global sales of over $200 million for albums and hit singles. Spears has come a long way since she joined Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera on the Mickey Mouse Club back in the 1990s.

In addition to the award that will be presented by Billboard, Brit has also already received recognition from the MTV Video Music Awards panel, “who have presented her with their Lifetime Achievement Award in addition to five further top awards over the years. Britney also has the notable honour of a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Britney Spears has certainly experienced her share of success but has also been through tumultuous times due to her divorce from Kevin Ferderline, who is the father of her two sons. Spears had a meltdown following their split, yet has risen back to the top by persevering and focusing on the two loves of her life, her sons.
