Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Spotted ‘Kissing’ — Are They Back Together? [Report]
Could Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner be preparing for a reconciliation?
The Daily Mail is reporting that Ben and Jennifer, who announced their separation in June 2015, were allegedly spotted “kissing” and looking cozy while together this week in Paris, France, suggesting that they could be reigniting their more-than-decade-long romance.
The site spotted the former couple out with their three children in the French city on May 5, before alleging that the Affleck family “retreated to their luxury hotel” where an onlooker claimed that Affleck and Garner were seen “apparently kissing in the courtyard bar.”
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are yet to comment on the alleged kiss reported by the Paris eyewitness, though the Daily Mail‘s photos show that neither Garner nor Affleck were wearing their wedding rings while out in the city of lights with their children earlier this week.
“Ben is hoping his summer movie shoot in London will give him the opportunity to convince Jennifer to give their marriage another chance,” a source allegedly revealed to the magazine, but claimed “Jennifer has told Ben flat-out that there is no chance she will take him back” and claimed it was “too late” for them to reconcile. However, Gossip Cop later denied the report.
People also reported that Jennifer and their children had joined Affleck in Europe while the actor is in London to shoot his new movie, Justice League: Part One, but noted that a source close to the former couple admitted that “there’s no sign they’re getting back together.”
However, the source did reveal to the site that Affleck and Garner, who announced their separation just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary last year, were “enjoying showing the kids London” during their time across the pond, which then stretched to the French city.
The Sun previously announced that the Ben and Garner had big plans to temporarily move to England to accommodate Affleck’s busy filming schedule because Ben wanted his family to be together despite his and Garner’s split.
“Ben wants his family close when he’s working, and staying together in a new country will be a great experience, despite himself and Jennifer being no longer a couple,” a source revealed of the former couple to The Sun earlier this year ahead of the family’s move.
The couple’s big move came shortly after Ben Affleck spoke out about the current state of his family life with Jennifer post-split, revealing during an appearance on CBS This Morning back in March that he and Garner were doing their “very best” to keep things as normal as possible for their children and to make them their priority.
“We’re doing our very best and we’re putting our kids first and that’s how we’re focusing on our day-to-day lives,” Affleck said on the morning show of himself and Garner earlier this year. “We don’t know what the future’s going to hold, but each step that we take is one where we prioritize our children and everything else comes second.”
