‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sage’s Death Unites Sharon And Nick, But Will She Confess That Sully Is Christian?

The aftermath of Sage’s death continues as we move further into May sweeps on The Young and the Restless. Sharon struggles to keep the secret that Sully’s true identity is Sage’s son, Christian Newman. The one detail that not even Sharon knows is that Christian’s biological father is not Nick Newman, it is Adam.

Soap Opera Digest reported that Sharon will grow closer to Nick, and implied they could reconcile over the next few months. Apparently, Sharon decides to keep the secret about Sully’s identity to herself and doesn’t tell Nick. It is an important point to bring up because she promised Sage (on her deathbed) that she would let him know that his son is alive. The secret becomes another paternity bombshell that Sharon has kept from Nick. When it all comes out, Nick will be on a warpath. There’s no way that The Young and the Restless writers can redeem Sharon from this mess.

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Sharon doesn’t feel like it is her place to reveal the truth. In her mind, they are all victims. It isn’t her fault that Dr. Anderson gave her a baby that wasn’t her biological child. She doesn’t feel any guilt for keeping the secret because if she reveals the truth, she will lose Dylan and Sully. It’s an impossible situation for Sharon.

“Sharon worries that the loss of a child would devastate Dylan. She knows from personal experience that the loss can destroy a parent, and she wants to shield him from that pain. Faith would lose too because she thinks of Sully as Sharon and Dylan’s child. It would be confusing to realize that he is action Sage’s son. Then there’s Sully–she’s the only mother he knows. It would be jarring for the infant to be ripped away from her and placed with someone he barely knows. These complications keep playing over and over in Sharon’s mind and keeps her from speaking up and revealing the truth.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers stated that Sharon thinks if Nick cannot raise his son, Christian, he can at least get to know him. She tries to get him to hold Sully, but Nick refuses. Nick isn’t able to be there for anyone and decides to stop his visitation with Faith.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nick is in disbelief that he’s grieving another loss. He feels emotionally exhausted and cannot pretend to be okay anymore. Mariah arrives at Nick’s house to see if he needs anything and to offer her support. Mariah immediately starts to doubt Sharon’s intentions when she sees her pushing Nick to bond with Sully.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Sharon thinks that since Sully was so important to Sage, that Nick may find him comforting. Mariah isn’t so sure that’s all there is to it, and finds her mother’s behavior a little odd.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon will grow closer to Nick, and eventually could end up having an affair with him. They are both dealing with the grief of losing Sage. Even when faced with the realization that Nick’s grief could be bearable if he would have Christian to take care of, Sharon still stays quiet about the truth and allows him to suffer and grieve the loss of his son and wife.

“Sharon truly believes that they are all Dr. Anderson’s victims and doesn’t feel responsible for anything that happened with Sage.”

The Young and the Restless rumors have hinted that the truth will be blown out of the water when something convinces Adam that Sully could be his son. He finds it strange that Sage called him about Christian just before she died, and she felt deeply connected to Sully. Adam wonders if there is a connection between the infants and vows to get to the bottom of it.
