Kate Middleton: Diet Secrets Revealed — How Similar Are They To Sister Pippa’s?

It isn’t just Pippa Middleton who enjoys keeping fit and active. Her older royal sister, Kate Middleton, is also an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys breaking a sweat like Pippa. In addition to ongoing rumors about a possible third pregnancy for the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, news has been relayed by OK! Magazine that Kate has begun to make working out a regular routine in her every day.

The publication shares that Middleton ensures to squeeze in at least some physical activity even if it is simply 15 minutes a day by doing something to get her heart working. The International Business Times also shares that Kate has been working out with a personal trainer ever since she became pregnant with Prince George and cites that the Duchess “has also incorporated running and swimming for her daily cardio, the magazine reported.”

Celebrity Health And Fitness notes additional details about Middleton’s tactics to maintain her slender physique.

“Kate’s weight loss secrets were a low carb diet, juicing, cardio exercise, and yoga workouts. It’s the same approach Middleton used to regain her fit bikini body after giving birth to her first child. In 2014, Kate lost 29 pounds less than 2 months after giving birth to son George with a low carb diet. Low carb, high-fat diets such as the Atkins and ketogenic diets fuel rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.”

The 34-year-old is reportedly focused on maintaining a healthy figure throughout both of her pregnancies and does so by participating in pilates and yoga. Kate was sure to get advice from fitness-focused sister Pippa and has even gotten her husband, Prince William, interested in eating a healthy diet consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats along with healthy juices.

A source told OK! about a favorite juice blend on the Duke and Duchess, as IBTimes notes.

“One of her favorites is a puree of berries and almond milk — whenever she’s having sugar cravings, she’ll throw one of those together.”

When Kate is swayed by guilty pleasures, she typically leans towards dark chocolate and gummy candies as her cheat food of choice.

Although the rumor mill has been spewing out claims that Kate Middleton is pregnant once again, this time with twins, a pregnancy is not her reason for maintaining focus on a healthy and balanced diet. Life & Style was the culprit this time, as the International Business Times shares. The publication perpetuated the rumor, but Gossip Cop debunked the pregnancy news as being false. As it stands, there isn’t a new little prince or princess ready to arrive as new additions to the already-adorable royal family.

As noted, Kate’s sister Pippa is very health conscious and fitness focused and has been helpful in keeping the Duchess and her family on track with her eating choices. Pippa recently was open about her own diet habits that keep her energized and fueled for her lengthy and physically demanding races in which she participates.

Good Houskeeping relays the diet choices that Pippa Middleton opts for on the daily.

“I try to eat wholegrain, energy-fuelled carbohydrates and three meals a day. I also increase my portion sizes based on my training level, with lots of brown rice, lentils, quinoa and sweet potato, and for breakfast, porridge and rye toast. I don’t get fussy, though, because I enjoy food too much. But a week or so before an event I’m quite conscious of eating really nutritious foods to store energy and I cut out alcohol, refined sugar and processed foods.”
