Jessa Duggar Wants To Beat Sister Jill Dillard In Having More Kids?

Jessa Duggar and her sister Jill had a big reunion in Central America, but that might have just spurred their competitive side even more, seeing as how they both have a baby son means that they subconsciously might be trying to grow their family before the other one does.

After visiting her sister Jill, the younger Duggar revealed her plans of moving forward with her adoption plans with her husband Ben Seewald.

“We have many friends who have walked this road, so we have seen firsthand the amazing power of adoption,” Jessa said to Us Weekly. “There are so many kids out there who are longing for the love of a family, and we feel strongly about opening our hearts and our home to welcome them in.”

“We don’t know what the future holds, but as the Bible says, ‘Man plans his way, and God directs his steps,'” she continued “So we want to move forward with paperwork and a home study, and just be ready for however God opens those doors.”

Sounds like Spurgeon is about to get new brothers and sisters!

But that doesn’t mean that Jill and Derick are slowing down their plans of having another child. Derick recently posted a picture of his son Israel and hinted that he may be popping out siblings soon in the future.

Jessa has been more vocal than her sister about rearing her baby boy.

“Spurgeon is still pretty young, but I’m sure that as he continues to grow, I will find that I tend to do some things differently than my mom did,” Jessa, 23, told Us Weekly. “That’s the beauty of the individual family. No one is identical.”

While the fans have interpreted this as a dig towards her own mother’s rearing techniques, Jessa has clarified later that she only said this to make sure that she can have a family just as successful as her mother’s.

To cover up the speculations that Jessa is trying to beat Jill in the race to have a bigger family, both of them hinted that they may be involved in some pregnancy pact.

“On the season finale of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jill (Duggar) Dillard revealed that she may be pregnant at the same time as her best friend and little sister Jessa (Duggar) Seewald,” reports People Magazine.

This could be a great idea in that they can rely on each other to compare notes on how this pregnancy feels different from their respective firsts, and they can give their kids cousins that are of the same age. The kids will have buddies even outside of their siblings!

But of course, the competition got the better of Jill and she noted that she has the upper hand in the race as her first son Israel is older than Spurgeon.

“I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time,” Jill said to People Magazine. “But to say who will be first, well Israel is older… so we will see.”

Meanwhile, Jessa has been busy enough with her schedule in Central America so much so that she has not posted a single update on her Instagram. Seeing how regularly she likes to post back home in the US, she must be taking time adjusting to the climate, culture and hanging out with her sister’s baby.
