Gwen Stefani Gives Blake Shelton Space Ahead Of Their Big Duet

Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend Blake Shelton seem to have issues in their relationship, according to Hollywood Life. The No Doubt front singer and her The Voice colleague reportedly aren’t hanging out on the set of the NBC show anymore.

The fact that Gwen Stefani and Shelton are not spending time on the set anymore made fans of their relationship worried. But it turns out, according to Hollywood Life sources, there is nothing to worry about.

And while everybody is already used to seeing Gwen Stefani and Shelton together both in front and behind the cameras when filming for The Voice, it seems that the two will no longer be keeping constant company.

As explained by Hollywood Life‘s source, it was Gwen Stefani’s decision to stop being on or around the set when her boyfriend is there working. If the “Make Me Like You” singer is not scheduled to work on the same set as Shelton, either as coach or mentor, she will not be interfering with Shelton’s workspace just to be close to him.

“They may love each other and enjoy spending time together, but she respects his workspace and will keep her time around the studios to a minimum.”

So in other words, Gwen Stefani just doesn’t want to be one of those overly attached girlfriend types. According to the same source, Stefani is a professional, and she is aware how hard Shelton works on The Voice‘s set, which is why she doesn’t want to interfere with his work on the set.

“Gwen gets that it is a big part of Blake’s career and so she will save their quality time together for when neither has obligations.”

Gwen Stefani will also be performing a duet with her boyfriend on The Voice, according to Billboard. The news has fans wondering which song the pair will choose to perform.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton have more than two months to spend some quality time together away from work before the No Doubt frontwoman goes on her freshly announced summer tour dedicated to her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which was released last month.

Gwen Stefani announced that she and rapper Eve will be giving shows in 25 cities across the United States most of July and August, 2016. Their joint tour will likely feature the highly-anticipated live performance of their 2001 hit song “Let Me Blow Your Mind.”

It’s as yet unclear whether Shelton is going to visit Gwen Stefani during the tour, but the country singer could do the same as Stefani. He could say he doesn’t want to get in the way of Stefani’s work because he respects her workspace.

Gwen Stefani announced the This Is What The Truth Feels Like tour via her Twitter account last month, according to Entertainment Weekly. The album, released on March 18, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the singer’s first number-one solo album on the chart.

But what’s even more exciting is that Gwen Stefani will take rapper Eve on the tour with her. Stefani and Eve released two collaborative tracks: “Let Me Blow Your Mind” in 2001 and “Rich Girl” in 2004.

Gwen Stefani will visit 25 U.S. cities on the tour, which kicks off on July 12 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The singer has also announced the end date of her tour: October 15 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Eve, meanwhile, released her latest album Lip Lock back in 2013. Their 2001’s hit “Let Me Blow Your Mind,” which features Stefani’s perfectly sculpted abs, is about these two musicians crashing a party, and then going to jail. It’s hard to believe that it was released 15 years ago!
