Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Anniversary Would Have Been Today

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian’s wedding anniversary would have been today, you know, if the marriage lasted longer than 72 days. But, instead of celebrating a year of marriage together, the two stars are preparing for a legal battle.

The New York Post reports that the Kardashian’s and Humphries’ legal teams met in court earlier this week to talk to a judge about a settlement. Humphries’ team, according to the post, is refusing to cave in to Kardashian’s “iron-clad” prenuptial agreement. Humphries claims that the marriage was a fraud and that Kardashian only married him to make money.

Kim’s Fairtale Wedding: A Kardashian Event aired on E! a few months after the couple’s August, 20, 2011 wedding. Starcasm reports that Kardashian made close to $18 million from her wedding to Humphries.

Humphries’ lawyer Marshall Waller said:

“Ms. Kardashian had no intention of going through with the marriage… The wedding was simply for the benefit of her television show.”

The Sentinel Source reports that Humphries wants to get an annulment instead of a divorce.

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian’s wedding anniversary may not be that romantic, but the reality star doesn’t seem to mind. The Daily Mail reports that Kardashian spent her anniversary in Hawaii with her new boyfriend Kanye West.

Kardashian wrote “Love Always Wins” on Twitter then posted a picture of her sunset view.

Kim also posted two pieces of “wisdom” that could be tied to her divorce.

The divorce obviously hasn’t been finalized yet, so, technically, today is Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian’s wedding anniversary.

Happy Anniversary… I guess.
