Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Struggle To Prevent Marriage From Crumbling: Concern For Her Weight Loss Grows?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently moved to England so that Brad can work on a new film. Their eight-bedroom rental mansion includes an indoor pool and workout area, with plenty of play room for the couple and their six children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7, reported the Daily Mail.

Described as an estate styled like the White House, the rental provides Brad with a place to rest and relax after filming his intense new World War II drama, Allied (initially known as Five Seconds of Silence). The filming has taken place in Southern England, with 52-year-old Pitt enduring some harsh weather conditions to play his character.

Immersing himself in the role, at one point Brad was sobbing amid the drenching rainfall. But was he devoting himself to staying in character, or did something else trigger those tears?

Pitt and Jolie are having marriage problems related to their career and kids, an insider told Radar Online.

The two reportedly are at war over whose movie project ranks as the most important.

“This is tearing them apart, but Brad’s got no choice,” clarified the insider. “He’s done more than enough to help her directing career, even risking his own reputation in her schmaltzy flop By the Sea, and now it’s time to get back to work.”

The actor and Angelina previously had established a rule that only one parent works so that the other takes care of the children, allowing each spouse time to alternate acting and parenting. But that system reportedly has failed.

“They’re at war over who’s looking after the kids since that agreement got blown out the window with her desire to turn her directing career into a success after several failures,” added the source.

Jolie recently finished shooting First They Killed My Father, which she hopes will become a success. But Brad is preoccupied with filming his own war film, and all of that is “tearing them apart,” according to the insider.

Adding to the tension in their marriage: Angelina has lost a noticeable amount of weight, according to the Movie News Guide.

Even Pitt’s and Jolie’s children reportedly are concerned about their mother’s health, particularly since she was ill after her movie finished shooting. But Angelina continues to push herself, with Maleficent 2 on her list of projects along to her humanitarian efforts to help refugees.

In addition to her weight loss, Jolie allegedly is struggling with emotional issues, according to a friend cited by Design & Trend.

“Angie has serious dark demons that have never entirely let go and it is still affecting her life and marriage,” revealed that friend. “Her wild lifestyle when she was younger and her intense surgeries to avoid getting breast and ovarian cancer have taken a toll on her as a person and a life partner.”

Moreover, the pal alleges that Angelina sometimes isolates while attempting to fulfill her roles as a wife and mother.

“Angie tries to be a good mom and wife but it is difficult with her personal problems and she struggles,” added the friend. “Brad was initially attracted to her dark side, but when she goes to this dark place she definitely pushes Brad away.”

Angelina’s tendency to isolate is also causing their marriage problems, claims the pal.

“It can be really hard on [Pitt]. He feels he has been more than patient with Angie, but his confidence in their happiness is wearing thin.”

As for rumors that Jolie is stressed about Brad spending time with “terrible influence” Ben Affleck? Those reports are not true, according to Gossip Cop.

The report via OK! Magazine claimed that Brad and Ben were delighted to spend time drinking and hanging out, also alleging that Angelina views Affleck as a bad influence and plans to keep Pitt close to her to avoid having her husband take on the role of “wing man” to swinging single Ben.

However, a source told Gossip Cop that there is “no truth” to that report. Instead, both Brad and Affleck are filming in London, and that connection apparently was enough for the report.
