Naughty Dog takes this series forward with Nathan Drake on another treasure hunting adventure with exciting third person shooter action. The story delves into Drake’s married life, his relationships, and overcoming adversity. The game adds news elements to its combat sequence with stealth options, such as sneaking past enemies rather than engaging them, according to a Gamespot reviewer.

The cinematic, action-packed sequences take you through several countries. The open-world format allows you to roam across many mind-blowing locations with the main character while engaging you with smart puzzles and potential threats.

Here is the round-up of reviews, consisting of near perfect scores for Uncharted 4.

The Telegraph review of Uncharted gives it a 5/5 score, and questions whether it’s the best game of this generation.

“This is a developer having a lot of fun, hitting the glamorous notes while being exceptional at the little things. Intelligent, invisible checkpoints ensure that frustrating do-overs are kept to the minimum. Menu options to replay individual set-pieces and gunfights offer a streamlined way to show off your favourite bits. Once you’ve finished the game, you can apply daft audio-visual filters and game-modifying extras.”

Destructoid gives the game a near perfect score of 9.5/10, praising its dialogue and art direction.

“It does feel weird to keep using the word ‘restraint’ in praise of a violent action-adventure romp about a worldwide race towards hundreds of millions in pirate treasure, but in A Thief’s End, more than ever in the series, Naughty Dog has done the little things right, using well-written dialogue and strong performances to tell a deeply personal story among a beloved, connected cast set against a larger-than-life backdrop.”

Gamespot gives Uncharted 4 a 10/10, saving their only criticism for its “inconsistent cover system.”

“Uncharted 4’s gameplay pushes the narrative forward, the narrative feeds off its gameplay, and every detail coalesces to create something bigger. Uncharted 4 bounces between set pieces and personal moments with such grace, with such skill and poise and affection for its characters, that you don’t mind when the guns stop firing, and the smoke clears, and Nathan gets a moment to breathe.”

Most reviews suggest Uncharted 4 is a must buy for game fans — will you be buying on its May 10 release date?
