Janet Jackson Is Pregnant Her Prayers Are Answered

Janet Jackson is pregnant after wanting to have a child for a very long time. She was praying for a child, even before her third and most recent marriage to billionaire Wissam Al Mana. Now, her prayers have been answered and her dreams of motherhood are about to happen. Jackson told Access Hollywood in 2010, as reported by People, she really wanted to be a mother but had to leave that up to God.

“I would love to, I would love to have a family, but it’s in God’s hands. So if it’s meant to be, it’ll happen. I hope it does.”

Janet Jackson is pregnant and reportedly in her second trimester. That means she is over three months pregnant, with fewer than six months to go. She and her husband Wissam have been working with a fertility specialist for a while, according to People. Finally a child, an answer to prayer, is well on its way to Janet’s loving arms.

While the powers that be may have had just a little help from a fertility doctor, the pregnancy still seems miraculous enough to Janet and Wissam. They will be so proud when the long awaited little bundle of joy arrives. Al Mana is a successful businessman with substantial investments in real estate, industry, and fashion. He has traveled the world and had tremendous success according to People. Still, having a child with Janet will be a new and exciting experience for him as well.

Janet Jackson was already pregnant when she canceled her tour last month, saying she and her husband were planning their family. She did not actually say she was pregnant, but she was smiling joyously and fans guessed she was probably pregnant, though some felt she might have decided to adopt, or that she was still trying to conceive. She was glowing and so very happy it seemed obvious to many, but no one could be certain until last night’s Entertainment Tonight announcement.

While Janet Jackson hinted she was pregnant last month, everyone had to wait for the big announcement when the time was right. Much to the frustration of concerned fans and friends, it is not traditional to announce a pregnancy until the beginning of the second trimester, and so fans have waited, wondering if their instincts were right in assuming that she was really pregnant. It turns out that those who guessed Jackson was pregnant last month were correct.

Jackson will turn 50-years-old this month and many fans are concerned for her late-in-life pregnancy. The famous mother to be is concerned, too. That is why she canceled her tour in order to ensure she did not overtax herself. Jackson needs to eat nutritious foods, obtain the best prenatal care, and get plenty of rest in order to ensure the baby’s health. That would be very difficult while on tour. Rest assured, the gorgeous superstar really wants this baby and will do what is best for her long awaited child.

Janet Jackson appears to be in good health, and she is certainly in great shape physically. She believes God has answered her prayers. To follow Janet’s logic, by leaving it in God’s hands, fans just have to trust that God knows what he is doing and that Janet will have a beautiful and healthy baby in about six months.

ET correspondent Cojo told Janet, she is going to be a great mother. Jackson replied thoughtfully.

“Well, I hope so. People say that, but I hope so.”

Janet Jackson isn’t exactly overconfident. She is humbled by her new role as a mother. Even to this capable superstar, motherhood is a tremendous responsibility and not to be taken lightly. She is not assuming it is going to be easy, even with a billion dollars in the bank.
