Johnny Manziel’s Ex-Girlfriend Colleen Crowley Remains Silent As He’s Booked On Assault Charges, See Mug Shot Photo

Johnny Manziel was booked today on charges of domestic assault after an alleged attack on his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, earlier this year.

On May 4, the former Cleveland Browns quarterback turned himself in to authorities in Texas, where he was booked for misdemeanor assault stemming from the incident with Colleen Crowley, in which she claimed Manziel turned violent after a night out.

“Manziel is accused of beating up his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, back in January,” TMZ reported on Wednesday. “She filed a restraining order against him claiming she was in fear for her life. She also claimed Manziel ruptured her eardrum.”

According to police, Johnny Manziel was released from custody after posting $1,500 bond.

The alleged incident between Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley was believed to have begun in a Dallas hotel room on January 30. According to a report by the Daily Mail on May 4, Colleen Crowley told authorities that Manziel “restrained” her while they were in the hotel room before leading her to his vehicle.

Once Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley were in his vehicle, he reportedly drove her to her own car where she attempted unsuccessfully to hide from the athlete.

“He grabbed me by my hair and threw me back into the car and got back in himself,” Colleen Crowley told police. “He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the car. I realized immediately that I could not hear out of that ear, and I still cannot today, two days later.”

After their alleged physical altercation, Colleen Crowley claimed Johnny Manziel drove her to her apartment where the two began arguing once again. Then, after pulling out a knife on Manziel and scaring him off, Colleen Crowley called police.

Although Johnny Manziel denied Colleen Crowley’s allegations against him, she has since received a two-year order of protection.

As her former boyfriend faces charges of assault, Colleen Crowley has remained silent on social media. As of May 4, Colleen Crowley’s Instagram page is listed as private, which means only those she’s approved to follow her updates are allowed to see her photos.

“This Account is Private. Request to follow Coll_Crowley to see their photos and videos,” reads a message on Colleen Crowley’s Instagram page.

In the past, Colleen Crowley had been open about their relationship on social media and in 2015, after getting into an alleged fight on a Texas highway, Colleen Crowley defended herself and Manziel, claiming there were false rumors being reported.

“J & I are good,” Colleen Crowley wrote to her fans and followers at the time. “I appreciate the people who stopped to check on us and call the police, I could see how it may have looked. Anytime someone sees a guy and a girl arguing on the side of the road they should definitely stop, you never know what that could be. Fortunately it was just an argument, it was private, and we are all good!”

As for Colleen Crowley’s Twitter page, that account has reportedly been suspended for unknown reasons.

Since the incident with Colleen Crowley, Manziel has been released from the Cleveland Browns and thus far, he has not been picked up by any other NFL team.

Johnny Manziel is scheduled to appear in front of a judge tomorrow in Dallas where he will face up to a year in jail. No word yet on whether or not Colleen Crowley will be present during the court hearing.
