Was Kanye West’s Apology To Wiz Khalifa Genuine? Kanye Clarifies What Caused Him To Diss Rapper’s Son

Kanye West openly admitted to feeling ashamed of himself following his infamous beef with rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The Yeezus rapper, who made an appearance on Steve Harvey’s radio show earlier this week, talked about the feud he had with Khalifa back in January that led to him making some outrageous comments aimed at Wiz’s son, Sebastian.

Following a string of back-and-forth conversations on Twitter, Kanye West went on to diss the rapper’s child, saying that Khalifa wouldn’t have had Amber Rose or Sebastian if it wasn’t for him.

“You wouldn’t have a child if it wasn’t for me,” West infamously tweeted. “You own waves???? I own your child.”

Kanye considers himself the man behind the reason why Amber Rose has managed to do so well for herself. The twosome dated for several years before Rose reportedly dumped the father-of-two and went on to marry Wiz, who she now shares a 3-year-old child with.

Wiz Khalifa considered the comments highly disrespectful, telling his fans that Kanye was dead to him. But it didn’t take long for West to apologize for the things he said on social media, acknowledging his wrongdoings and asking for Wiz’s forgiveness.

This was then brought up again during the Steve Harvey interview, where Kanye West openly said, “I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents.”

The aspiring fashion designer went on to say, “There is no concept of anyone beating up on someone else’s child or that type of concept. So, every day I feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts.”

According to Kanye, he is in a good place with Wiz following their short-lived feud. They’ve spoken on the phone on multiple occasions and there’s no sort of grudge held against West for the disrespectful things he said regarding Khalifa’s son and his ex-wife Amber Rose.

At the time of their feud, Kim Kardashian was said to have played a huge part in squashing Wiz Khalifa’s feud with her husband, telling Kanye that there was absolutely no reason for him to have brought an innocent child into the mix of things.

The comments Kanye had made were so controversial, his own fan base turned against him, saying that children should never be involved in public feuds, especially on social media.

Thankfully enough, West has apologized for his actions, hoping that he can refrain himself from a similar situation in the future.

Kanye publicly addressing what caused his social media tantrum earlier this year comes just days after the rapper attended the Met Gala with his wife Kim Kardashian.

The duo was named one of the best-dressed couples of the night as Kim rocked a bedazzling metallic outfit by Givenchy while her husband opted for a denim metallic jacket, a pair of desert boots, and frightening blue contact lenses.

Do you think Kanye West was sincere with his apology over the reckless tweets he had directed at Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose, and their 3-year-old son Sebastian? Or do you think that the rapper just felt offended in the moment of time and didn’t think about his actions when he made those comments to begin with?
