Pink Says She’s Due For A Break-Up With Husband Carey Hart
Singer Pink has always had a good sense of humor about her on-again-off-again marriage to husband Carey Hart. The couple, who have one child together, Willow, 4, went on two breaks throughout their relationship.
Pink recently joked that the two are due for another break from each other. The singer appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and joked that although they were having a good day today, they might need a break.
“Today is a good day. We take breaks. We’ve had two breaks,” she explained.
The first break was before they had their daughter, Willow, and then they had another break. When DeGeneres inquired about their last fight, Pink explained their last fight was over Carey’s habit of falling asleep before the singer.
“He always falls to sleep putting Willow to bed. The other night I said, ‘Are you going to stay up tonight?’ And he said, ‘I would like to.’ I said, ‘I don’t really know what that means. Should I light candles and open wine and put on a show? Like, are we going big here? Or are you going to fall asleep again?’ So, I lit the candles and opened the wine, and an hour and a half later, [Carey was fast asleep in their daughter’s bedroom].”

That said, Pink stated she gets a lot of binge-watching done while Carey is sleeping without her.
“I’m caught up on Homeland, so we’re good, and then he wakes up eventually; I’m pretending to be asleep. He comes in bed — it’s pitch dark; he cannot see my face — and yet he rolls over and says, ‘What’s wrong?'”
Pink has always been rather candid about her marriage to Carey Hart. Back in 2012, she opened up to Billboard Magazine about their rocky relationship.
“It’s funny. I wrote Family Portrait when I was 21 and my parents divorced when I was nine, so I tend to hold onto things. I’m still exorcising some of those demons. ‘And look, I’m in a relationship that I’ve been in for 10 years and it’s never going to be perfect. Carey always jokes, “You’re always just mad enough at me to write a song.”‘
As it just so happens, it sounds like Pink’s daughter Willow has a mean streak just like the singer.
According to ET, Pink said, “Willow is all me. She’s cute like her papa, and she’s mean like her mama.”
Recently, Pink was in the news for calling late singer Prince rude. As the Inquisitr reported, Pink regrets having an argument with the artist backstage at an event. In an interview with Australian radio show Fitzy and Whippa, Pink explained the hurtful exchange that she now regrets.
“It was about owning your own masters. I asked him to collaborate with me. He asked if I owned my masters. I told him ‘no, I didn’t’ because I had just actually got a record deal, so it was a little early for me to be demanding my masters back. He told me to call him when I did. I told him he was a rude f*** then I went on stage.”
She explained that she was too young to see people from good places back then. In the midst of the many tributes, Pink decided to make one of her own for Prince on Instagram.
